Another man killed by police. He was mistaken for a shooter whilst apprehending the other and killed. Apparently he was training to be a police officer, sad to hear this has happened. I know a lot of news is being drowned out by Stan Lees death but I think this man deserves a spotlight too, he was a hero and saved lives.
Edit: The victims mother has issued a lawsuit towards the police department.

1 RispondiI fail to see how this issue is about gun control. Shouldn’t the issue of this story be more so on police training and following proper procedure?

2 RisposteIf only there was a good guy with a gu.....ohhhhh nevermind

2nd amendment makes being a cop one of the most dangerous jobs in America.

Here come all of the anti-gun people, oh great.

7 RisposteModificato da Unanimate Objec: 11/13/2018 9:41:58 PMEnvironmental danger (active gunman) + civic duty (Stop gunman) = Elevation in BPM (x>160) + Cognitive reduction (resource channeling to stopping threat, tunnel vision, increased in neural activity [twitchy]) = Innocent man dead.

So then having an armed person on site didn't work out so well.
-
1 RispondiThis is why the solution to mass public shootings is not having lots of people running around with their own guns.
-
2 RisposteMust suck to be a police officer in America. You either hesitate and risk getting shot or shoot first and risk killing innocent people.

6 RisposteGood on the mother. Maybe then the police will teach new recruits to be less trigger happy.
-
3 RisposteTo be fair, how could the police know? Its as simple as a man with a gun who is not police in the situation. The moment an officer takes a gamble on unknowns like that is a moment they could very well be killed doing their duty.

3 RisposteInadequate firearms training for the police. Tho in a country where any slack jawed moron can buy one that’s no surprise.

5 RisposteWhy do people hate it when the Police are trained to the point where their reaction speed helps and hurts them. I mean it probably ( and i mean 95% sure) has saved a lot more lives that killed.

1 RispondiThat truly stinks. Im glad that he helped America. He died honorably. Im also gonna be praying for the cops that shot him. They must feel guilty.
