Whats with not being able to return to orbit from the match results screen in PVP?
Every now and again I get to the results screen and can't just go back to orbit, because I love having to look at my destructive kd or how bad I sucked for another 13 seconds when I could just be moving on with my day and getting to my next match.

4 RisposteIt's this. Which I have posted to feedback 70 times now. The UI at the end of a Gambit or Crucible or Strike matches is broken on Xbox One. I’m specifically talking about the end of game screen that shows our scores / performance for both teams and a timer counting down from 20. Sometimes you put up the “Press Y to Leave this Activity” message, but pressing or holding “Y” does nothing. Other times there is no message or “Y” prompt at all to push. Here is a video showing it missing in Iron Banner months ago: https://youtu.be/sn0x_dPWEBw Secondly, when this happens, 90% of the time it puts up the waiting for players lobby screen and the "B" button to leave this activity is completely non responsive for 20+ seconds of pressing, holding and repeatedly mashing “B”. Lastly, I will continue to send this message each time (the number at the title end is how many times I have posted) it happens until Bungie gets the fornicating idea that this is very very annoying - just like this message. This is not a me issue, this is a “YOU” issue.

What I do is leave as soon as i get my reward at the end of the match before the screen starts counting down from 30. It saves a lot of time.

3 RisposteIts specifically an Xbox One problem. And Bungie specifically doesn't care. Jus deal with it, it'll never be fixed. Might go back to fortnite, atleast they tried to improve console(custom binds, and no double press in builder pro, quite nice actually), bloom suvks ass but at least the developers care enough to fix half of thee problem.

Happens to me sometimes too. I think it’s a connection issue which results in a frozen screen. Needs a fix.

1 RispondiOngoing issue. Cosmo has been aware of this for some time. Cosmo even acknowledged this as a problem when someone posted a video of themselves spamming the back button, no less than 80 times, just to exit the queue. Clearly this is a broken piece of code. It’s now an endgame activity for me to see how many times I can spam the button before I’m finally released as a hostage from a shitty lobby, both in crucible and in Gambit. It’s broken. And it’s very annoying. Please just fix this. I realize it’s Tuesday, and this is the day of the week you all wash your hair and brush your teeth, but please focus some time on this today.

They fixed it so you can't leave after the match and you still get a penalty. It comes with a time penalty.

Yup. I don't like it either. Forces into the next match, giving you like 5 secs to spam circle to exit.

Simple to keep the matchmaking times to a minimum so it looks good numbers wise that people are matchmaking quickly when your really just going to get stuck with the same people and either continue to get stomped on or stomping on them.

this is a known issue bungie is working on... so expect a fix in a few months or so.

It’s the same for Gambit & strikes also. There have been times in Gambit after the match & during the countdown screen to start the next match. I’ll be smashing the button to go to orbit & it just doesn’t respond. Sometimes I’ll get to go to orbit & other times I’ll end up going into the next match , please fix this Bungie.

He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold

It happens when you hold the exit button before the scoreboard comes up, like in the first destiny, except in the first destiny it let you exit, but in Destiny 2 the option doesn't come up if you try that. So I know it's a nuisance because I've done the same thing, if we have a shit game, we have to wait until the result comes up before we can leave.
