Why is it still able to kill a guardian on a body shot while said guardian is in their super?
I thought it was getting nerfed. What did they do exactly? Because they need to nerf the damage, not the charge time.
I don't mind if a headshot is one hit kill, but not a body shot, and definitely not while they're in their super.
You shouldn't reward the player for hitting the guardian, but instead reward the player for a good aim upon hitting the guardian.

8 Risposte1. Yes, they clearly have no intention to damage nerf it. 2. Going all the way back to Destiny 1, Sleeper Simulant----and all HEAVY weapons that weren't machine guns----had that power. They aren't going to break the weapon simply because some frustrated players in Gambit refuse to adapt to it. 3. They reduced its aim-assist. So its harder to hit a moving target....or to hit a target while you're on the move. I'm a skilled fusion rifle player, and I missed two or three shots last night with it that I would have nailed before the nerf. They are also cut the amount you get per ammo brick (from the wall spawns) in half. You get only two rounds rather than 4. 4. Gambit isn't the Crucible. This PVP is modelled after the Open-world PVP you get in RPG games and MMOs. Which means if NOT a test of "gun skill" or shooting accuracy. It is a test of BUILD STRENGTH, theory-crafting, strategy and tactics. Which means the PVP is fast....nasty....and unbalanced. An Invader has 30 seconds to create as much chaos as he can while at a 4-to-1 disadvantage. THAT MEANS HE'S GOING TO BE COMING AFTER YOU WITH THE FASTEST KILLNG METHOD AT HIS DISPOSAL. SO HE CAN PUT YOU DOWN AND MOVE ON TO HIS NEXT VICTIM....AS WELL AS MINIMIZE THE RISK OF GETTING TEAM SHOT. If you want 1v1 duels....and primary gunfights....? Stick to the Crucible. Gambit isn't the game you want....and its never going to be.

1 RispondiPvp players always wanting to survive a "blast" from something.

2 RisposteGuess what: rockets do that too...

Modificato da Raevenent: 11/2/2018 11:16:30 AMIt can't one shot sunbreakers in mid super. If we're talking about Gambit that is. Also when you have 30 seconds to cause as much destruction as possible, people are going to lean towards what can dispose someone quickly to move on.

😂 more pvp whining

Warlock on Titan supers are ridiculously resistant to body shots, sometimes even headshots. (I'm looking at you, hammers)

2 RisposteJust stop jumping around in full sight, Super or not. People who complain they get killed by sleeper, will keep on complaining about everything and keep on demanding nerfs until we can't even decently kill a simple cabal anymore with whatever weapon. but hey noobs can take 50 shots in the crucible :P

4 Risposteso do rockets...

1 RispondiIf you get killed by an invader while you're in your super, that's your fault. The Drifter tells you when the invader is running around. Do you hear there's an invader then immediately go into your super? NO. You look for the invader.

4 RisposteAll heavy should be able to one shot a super... that is the point of people having to fight over it, and why it hard to get in crucible...
-
7 Risposteits a -blam!-ing exotic heavy thats why
-
1 RispondiThey reduced aim assist so noobs cant land their shots, I guess it never occurred to bungie that the projectile on sleeper is huge and less aim assist literally does nothing. I have seen lots of terrible players miss way more often though but whats the point? All you need is a lucky body shot, even with less ammo, if players camp out the heavy they will have enough to still wipe a team with the aliens also dropping heavy

20 RisposteModificato da diaboliC NOR: 11/1/2018 10:44:36 AMIts Bungie that cant solve the problems that occur in the right way. Their fixes always comes very late, and its always a bad fix. Sleeper got a aim-assist nerf, then a ammo nerf. The only fix it really need is damage fall off, or effective range. Linear fusion rifles are a way better option then any sniper rifle in the game. My Croockedfang got up to 18 or 20 shots, and its easier to cross map people with a linear fusion rifle then a Sniper rifle.. Its faster, easier and it does more damage to body shots aswell. EVERY single balance issue in this game comes from effective range, and crit vs bodyshot damage. And often Bungie ruins the guns or abilities completely with fixes no one asked for. I am sure people would enjoy the predictability of weapons having a clear purpose and play-style, and be strong in what they are supposed to do. Like whats the point of auto rifles, sub machine guns, sidearms? Since i barely can write English i wont go into details, but there is a lot of room to balance all weapons and still make them strong and fun.. If you give them the right effective range, and the right balance between body and crit damage. (precision weapons, spray and pray)

Ammo's been nerfed and the aim assist was reduced in the previous patch.

I make a bunch of suggestions and none get any attention, but I create a thread on a controversial topic and everyone loses their minds. People just wanna look for reasons to complain and not to improve, smh.

Anymore nerfs on it is just overkill and defeats the designed purpose of the gun.

They made it to where when you pick up Ammo, you only get two Charges (if you're not running a Scavenger Perk). And they slightly. Near nonexistent. Toned it's Aim-Assist down. In my opinion, they should nerf/buff it; Reduce it's body shot damage drastically to prevent any one shot body shot kills above a certain Resilience. Then, drastically buff it's Critical Headshot Multiplier to actually end up making it do a tiny bit more damage than it's doing now. :/ But you already know, you're playing Destiny. As soon as the player base is at risk of needing to give an ounce of effort, they immediately cripple and complain.
