Y’all are acting as though Bungie is the worst company with paid stuff. At least it’s not EA. If EA ran Destiny you’d have to pay for “Legendary Loot Crates” with a .01% chance of dropping Not Forgotten with no chance to earn it in game and every crate costing $20. At least you get all the content you pay for in DLC expansions.

No, actually, you don't.with their implementation of rng, there's always a chance you'll never get a lot of the things in this game, and things that are a lot more important than dumbass skins and emotes. And as far as EA goes, they've always basically been scum, so we've always known what to expect of them. Bungie used to be better than what they are now. That's why people get annoyed with them. We know they can do much better but they're doing everything in their power to do the bare minimum.

If you’re not willing to play the game to get a weapon you can’t expect them to give it for free. Imagine if it was like Iron Banner year 3 of D1 where EVERYTHING was just given to you. It would suck as a game. End of year 3 was honestly terrible. Yes I get that drop rates are low but RNG is the point. If every new exotic item was given out for free without any sort of grind or incentive to play then what’s the point of even playing the game? Exotics are supposed to be rare. They also buffed the drop rate of forsaken exotics so that helps with this problem as well.

RNG makes it so you have the chance to never actually get certain things, and all because they can't be bothered with actual percentile chances(which eventually amount to the same sometimes, but is more reliable having an actual number applied to something over a "maybe"). Not one person criticizing the shit drop chances just want something for free, they want to know that their time is well-spent, that they don't waste 400 hours on doing the same boring nonsense for a "maybe". And the "grind" is near and far in between. I got Lord of Wolves from a basic(not even the weekly" bounty from the Spider, the One Eyed Mask from a lv50 strike, and a random exotic from a roaming yellow bar enemy on Io. Others have done the raid and nightfalls multiple times and for long than I ha e for not one. That's an issue and does not in any way reflect "more grind equals more exotics". RNG is not a logical reward system. Never has been, never will be.

If you grinded 400 hours then you definitely have everything. Look at streamers and youtubers. Triplewreck, True vanguard, Mtashed, etc. they’ve put countless hours into the game and have every exotic except for maybe 1 or 2 quest exotics because they do the right activities. And exotics have a lower drop chance meaning, you guessed it, they’re RARE.

Please take this comment with a grain of salt 1. you should never take a game seriously 2. don't you normal put 400 hours into anygame you play. 3. I seriously don't see why anyone complains about this game.
