Every dedciated player should have been able to unlock the majority of the Forsaken Exotics by now.
Bungie reduces the drop rate to a all time low and refuse to let Xur the EXOTIC MERCHANT sell any of the new Forsaken exotics.
It astounds me that people are ok with this. Saying asinine things "it makes it exciting" or "it should be rare"
I say NO. It makes it tedious and annoying. I end up having to treat this game like a second job to spend 40+ hours for a chance to unlock content I already paid for. These exotics were front and center in the advertising of this expansion alongside Cayde's death. And in these 2 months after release I've only unlocked 2 new out 6 drops.
Fighting Lion droping in Haunted Forest, Are you serious Bungie?
This is a problem that needs fixing for the majority of us and Bungie needs to respect the time, energy and more importantly THE MONEY we put into this game.

4 RisposteDrop rate is fine, the duplicate rate isnt
-
14 RisposteI actually decided to quit because of that I’m tired almost two months 8-12 of hardcore gameplay with no forsaken exotics you played your self bungie
-
I still have only gotten a Sparrow exotic...
-
4 RisposteAlso exotic quest need to remove from loot pool

1 RispondiI’ve only gotten one forsaken drop in roughly seven. I wouldn’t go all “it’s a slap in the face”. That seems a bit extreme. It’s just a video game. But I think it’s a miscalculation. I am not interested in “chaseing exotics”. I don’t have some great memory of getting Gjallahorn. What I remember is never getting autos until well after it and all auto rifles were needed into oblivion. I never really had hawkmoon for a long time then it want the metA. I got Gjallahorn about a month before it was nerfed after spending months and months tediously grabbing the gorgons chest. The chase wasn’t fun. I was much happier with icebreaker as I had it the whole time and got to enjoy playing with it. My fun is using the weapon and the actual playing the game. For me I don’t get pleasure from chasing weapons. For example I ran strikes for two utterly painful weeks to get a hopscotch pilgrim. I enjoyed playing Pvp with the hopscotch once I got it. I utterly hated the experience of endlessly doing strikes over and over. Everyone is different though. That’s ok. It’s just not me. I enjoy they gameplaying more than weapon chasing.

Anyone else not get “exotics raining down” or “dropping like candy” during Y1 D2? I always see this argument for the current drop rates being just fine. During Y1 I would get more exotics then now, but by no means was it a huge amount per my playtime compared to what I was hearing from everyone else. And it certainly didn’t make me bored or want to stop playing when I finally did get all of them. I ended up finishing my collection through Xur since I would obtain about 1 exotic per couple of days, and it was usually a duplicate. So yeah, with forsaken the drop rates for some of us is actually lower then that, and Xur isn’t going to be selling forsaken exotics any time soon apparently. Just wanted to rant about that, have a great day.

3 RisposteSerious question. What do exotics drop from? Any activity? Ive never had one drop so I’m curious. Can they drop from any bounty package? Only level 500 heroic strikes? (400 level seems to give me same rewards.)
-
Ive had the chaperone and the armamentarium drop in the world. Hoping to see a new exotic only to be disappointed, that kills my motivation. Ive had the new exotic boots for the titan from a heroic adventure and the cerberus +1 in the first few days after spending 7000 gunsmith materials. Ive been playing up to 6 hours everyday since launch and even more in the weekends, that is a shitload of time to only receive 1 new exotic.

5 RisposteModificato da dadomike: 10/23/2018 4:36:51 PMOk...the drop rate is a bit low, and they've already said they're increasing drop rate and lowering chances of duplicates but... ...we are less than 2 months into forsaken if we already had all the exotics what exactly should we be grinding for seeing that most of us have at least 1 char at 600?
-
I bought the game for content not the exotics. I like my content its nice after a long day of work. Did everything besides riven. Im gear towards it just need the time in my life to get it done only man handled 2 of the bosses in it so far.
-
12'000 strikes. Still 0 catalysts. Working as intended
-
Not all of them but I’d say more than the 3 I’ve gotten. Shit, if the drop rate is gonna be this bad, might as well just lock all of them into quests.
-
7 weeks no non quest forsaken exotic weapons= BS
-
2 RisposteNope it's fine. Exotics should be this rare. However some don't feel worth the wait and should be made to feel more special.
-
Should be more give and take not take and take, they have data on everyone make it so that people at least get one within the first few months especially if others have gotten 5 or 6 in a week talking bout rates are fine. Might have better luck winning the lottery than getting the one exotic I want lol
-
I don’t agree completely but I’ve got 100+ hours into forsaken 3 characters 570+ and not a single forsaken exotic except the quest ones. Already had all year 1 exotics. They nerfed the drop rate a bit to much.
-
6 RisposteI received three exotic engrams this week, including one with a new Forsaken exotic.
-
3 RisposteI have a friend who is 600 on all his characters, put in a LOT of hours and doesn't have a single Forsaken exotic, that cannot be right. I know everyone argued about rarity, but this is ridiculous. Bungie, thanks for the update on new drop rates, but I'm very sceptical, you don't have a great rep for fixing this kind of thing and to be honest it shouldn't have happened in the first place. On another note, stop hiding exotics behind bloody PvP, it's really boring.
-
7 RisposteWhy did the gunsmith go from 40 to 100 weapon parts?
-
3 RisposteModificato da name: 10/23/2018 10:14:38 AMi called it , once RDR2 launches they will finally try to do something about this crap , til now it was great to inflate play time (well not really , it forced me to stop playing completely already to not waste my time anymore)
-
Dig the sand out of your lady-parts. It’s a videogame. None of this is worth your childish temper tantrum.
-
4 RisposteBruh you clearly werent around when d1 first dropped. Stop bitching already for the game is doing great and bungie put a lot of effort and thought into forsaken. So stop with the hate, we get that you're frustrated but damn calm down
-
It may be a little low, but I am enjoying the content right now, so I don't mind. I just finally got my first seed of light this weekend, and I was excited. I like that I haven't blazed through the content so quickly and there is more and more to pursue. Just my opinion.
-
It is terrible unless you're me and you get contraverse and Geomags in the first week of forsaken
-
Well considering how bad usually the exotics perform I’m not even waiting none of them to drop. So far I payed £34 for 8 refurbished D1 exotics to drop not counting the quests ones. 👍 I have the Malfeasance quest the single new forsaken exotic

It is a little tight, glad there is an adjustment coming. That being said, I do like the lower drop rate as it feels more like a reward, it's a "get to" not a "have to". Did a nice happy dance last week when The 2 Tailed Fox dropped for me. Sorta felt like the first time Gally dropped in a Crota run.
