Dedicated. Freaking. Servers.
The lag is UNREAL (when it’s happening). I don’t see why there isn’t. I just think it’d help.

My god yes we need it... I was alright with it at first being the way things are currently but I didn't play quite as much crucible at that time... Now that I've gotten better and tend to play more (even moreso with gambit as well) the lag is ridiculously stupid half the time... Some matches I've had opponents literally pop out of nowhere and take me out withing half a second... [spoiler]kinda wonder how i must look to those that have killed me when I'm in a laggy match...[/spoiler]

1 Rispondi-blam!- the lag whoever design the programming for matchmaking and putting ppl in games that's already over meaning the team that lost needs to be fired. I never seen a game with such bad matchmaking settings back in destiny 1 things was better than destiny 2. The more i play pvp with these settings the more i think bungie got their shit from the dollar tree. Feels like im playing on some cheap after market boot leg servers an matchmaking settings.

6 RisposteDedicated servers only help in minor cases of lag. I see way too many players in game with dedicated servers bounce all over the place. The real fix is not dedicated servers but players learning about internet issues and how to fix them or getting off their arse's and doing something they know is acting up. All the time on the #Help forum we see cases of internet problems but all the affected player sees is up/down speed and nothing else….. In fact the number of players who do not know how to clear their console's cache is beyond belief. So is dedicated servers the fix or education on how to fix problems and not cry "it's Bungie's fault" every 2min.

Bungie is Not going to spend that kind of money, Ever. This is what you got and will always have. It's just like gamers asking for 4 years now to have optional matchmaking in certain events. It's never going to happen. Edit: Think about this for a moment and I'm being serious. If they refuse to invest in creating a decent engine, why would they spend money on new servers? I know, I know, downvote me for showing the truth, have at it guys :)

You heard him bungie. People are sick and tired of your walmart operated servers,but whether we wanted it or not, we've stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let's get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta'aurc. From what I can gather, he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank just outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.

However, it's entirely possible that Bungie will devise some duct-tape-and-baling-wire alternative and put together a lengthy, superficially plausible slide show arguing that the alternative is every bit as good as dedicated servers, then rely on loyalists to parrot the party line all over the internet. Oh wait ... that already happened. :)

11 RisposteFor being the creators of Halo the crucible is... Lack luster. A lot of things need to be fixed and it seems like they could care less. We get TWABs and hot fixes about PVE but rarely any PVP. I just want to know that they're listening.

1 RispondiThe first 3 to 5 minutes of every crussible match, landing on a planet or starting a strike is a lag fest where the game goes to 1 fps and I have to wait for the connection to the host to load ... and I paid about 140$ for that shit ...

i think no desicated servers needed, you should only be allowed to enter crucible if you have the network requirements to play the game without any disadvantages; means if u have a really good network - you should not play against people using a mc donalds wifi...
