There are some very mixed responses in here while people are getting some and most people are not I think the RNG is a little screwy. To be honest I think they’re still using the same RNG system since D1 which sucks bad but I guess bungie thinks it works well

I have only gotten one new exotic to drop, which is armor for the new solar Warlock subclass (I am using void, and still haven't gotten a second seed yet). So the one new exotic to drop for me is completely useless... but I am Ok with that. Because whenever something decides to drop it will feel exiting and awesome. Every once in a blue moon I'll come across somebody in crucible using one of the new exotics, and typically I get owned by them quite a lot. But I think to myself "Man, I can't wait until I can finally have that awesome weapon!". Sure I would like to have it ASAP, but having things handed to us so quickly really makes the exotics feel less special and unique. Keep the drops super rare Bungie and please don't have Xur sell the new stuff, but it would be neat if he had some actual purpose. Like maybe some bounties or something else to sell, or perhaps a way to buy masterwork cores in a unique and interesting way (something we can grind for).

31 Risposteplay the game more, and you will get exotics. Do all the content every day, all the bounties, and you will get an exotic. I get at least 2 a day from those

Just rng, I had trinity ghoul and queenbreakers bow both drop back to back, and the Warlock gauntlets 1hr later. Also had vigilance wing and wardcliff catalysts drop, the rng will balance out eventually

I've gotten several exotics so far... But looking at it. Only 1 from forsaken. Most of them have been duplicates. And quest exotics

Been waiting on celestial night hawk.... This is just another wait for the bow gloves. Nothing -blam!-ing drops and the only way to get them now for sure is xur. Otherwise we are looking at .01%droprates

I got Two Tailed Fox and Geostomps last week. My buddy got Trinity Ghoul and Cerberus+1. Seems to me that you'll get at least two if you play consistently.

Yeah I’ve had one, two tailed fox, drop. And that’s pretty -blam!-in average too. Done everything every week except 100000 nightfall and raid. Haven’t even had any dupes from year 1 drop. I think it definitely needs a slight bump.
