Exotic engrams drops should be rare, but not THIS rare
Im one of the late comers, I bought the pre-order Cayde6 Forsaken pack, and Ive beaten the entire story of the game, and all the DLCs and not once have I seen an exotic engram drop. Sure I have exotic weapons and armor from missions, but that doesnt change the fact that E-Engram drops are far too exotic in my opinion. I agree they should be rare, and Ive read that they used to drop all the time, but now it feels like the dont drop AT ALL. Please fix the drop rate.

The drop rate of exotic engrams is ridiculous. All of my characters are above 562 and I have yet to receive an exotic engram. I know some of my friends have gotten several over the last couple of weeks, and that's fine, but the drop rate for me has been terrible. I'm watching a many of YouTubers gleeful over the Exotics that they've gotten, and some of my friends you showing me their latest exotic. That's all well and good if you're on the lucky Side Of The Ledger, but for people like me it sucks. There doesn't seem to be a method by where you can guarantee a drop, but just play the game. I played the game and I'm not getting drops, so not feeling it Bungie. Thanks for screwing me over.

2 RisposteThe issue is the drop rate of year 2 exotics. Year 1's are absolutely fine. Year 2's however, are probably as rare as winning the top prize from one of those stupid loot boxes from elder scrolls online. It feels like a 3% chance that the drop will be a year 2 at the moment. I think it's got to be a bug, as I can't understand why Bungie would make them non-existent.

1 RispondiAround 2 weeks played and over 25 fire team medallions burned and still sitting at 0 exotic engrams in any of my 3 characters that are all lvl 20 and 265+ light. Imo Bungie nerfed the shit out of em even more so you feel compelled to buy an overpriced DLC. I only want one for the Sturm quest line for now but it doesn't matter what I grind I get showered with blue gear and very rarely with legendary... Don't think I'll play any more or ever play again a Destiny game if the following week goes the same way.

It doesn’t help you get no indication that one has even dropped. I didn’t get one for ages but then suddenly there was 2 waiting in my postmaster.

I'm actually okay with the drop rate. The start of D2 handed out exotics like candy and made them lose value. Now that they are difficult to achieve again like D1 I find myself more giddy whenever one drops or I go to see Xur. Speaking of Xur what was up with last week? He sold titan arms you get guaranteed through the Warmind campaign, what's the deal with that?

37 RisposteFYI, most players, especially those that left and then came back because of the fixes in Forsaken (wild guess 87% of the original player base including D1 base) do not agree with you. They should be this rare and nothing needs to be fixed. You people need to stop asking for BS changes before the game takes 2 steps back. Stop crying about the exotic drop rate. Stop crying about the cost of infusion. Stop crying about the raid level requirements. Just play and be happy that you don’t already have every exotic like before and there are still tons of things left to play for.

You should know that any type of comment like this will be considered whining by the hardcore community and will therefore bring you nothing but shit comments in return. So enjoy your Rare's and new Legendary's and just wait. Exotics will come. Remember the Gjallahorn!

4 RisposteI've gotten two Exotic Forsaken weapons since the DLC came out. IMO, the drop rate is fine and everyone who I've been playing with during this expansion with thinks so too. If you've >only< finished the story, it's obvious you won't get an Exotic yet, you literally just started getting your feet wet with this DLC.

They don't understand that someone else has put in 10x more time than them and have nothing to show for it. The RNG is so bad they almost need a pity timer like Diablo. Our pity timer used to be Xur. Nothing wrong with getting a fated engram once a week using the materials you've earned through play.

Exotic.... engram? What’s that? Closest thing I’ve seen to an exotic engram was a time bomb from trickster.

I’ve gotten 3 to randomly drop from major enemies, but 2 were exotics I already had and one was a forsaken exotic that was meh.

Yeah I starting to think they have turned them of, I've had a big fat 0 since release of forsaken and I've had 3 mods 2 I brought and don't get me started on the master work cores that does not work for upgrading just leave it for master working you don't give us enough I had quite I thew I feel sorry for the new players would make me wanna give up on the game.

I've had 8 Drop all were y1 and most were useless since they came from tokens or mats and dropped 500 pl. Only kept 2 thay were higher at the time. Still haven't received a foresaken exotic though
