Sleeper is op in gambit
This is fact
I played with terrible teammates, enemy had a 7 minute boss lead and couldn't kill him because I kept going over and easily team wiping putting thier boss back to full.
My team finally killed the boss in a round we had ZERO business winning
A 1hk body shot from any range coupled with player icons is completely unbalanced
It's great for everything from boss dps to countiually wiping the enemy team, it's basically golden gun with a charge time and a 30 second limit.
Now as for how to balance it simple, no enemy player icons.
Without knowing exactly where enemy players are as soon as you drop sleeper doesn't become as strong and actually has counters.
Until then I'll be abusing the hell out of this and I recommend players search with it.

you could shoot the person using sleeper. they'll flinch so hard
-
If you know where they are yes, but keep in mind they can back down and still know exaclty where you are with a 1hk at any range, non crit weapon while you can only assume general location
-
I agree. Nothing but sleepers in gambit and the people that abuse them are on the forums claiming they are perfectly balanced.
-
It’s not op use a sniper learn where the invaders come from and take them out without charging your weapon... nothing needs be fix players are just stupidly fix on specific weapons but everything has a counter EVERYTHING has a counter...git good kid
It’s not op use a sniper learn where the invaders come from and take them out without charging your weapon... nothing needs be fix players are just stupidly fix on specific weapons but everything has a counter EVERYTHING has a counter...git good kid
It is op, you can try using a sniper while they knkw exactly where you are and can blast you in the body while you need a crit, there is no counter to sleeper, it's good for anything in gambit from boss dps to 1hk from any range with body shots. LOL @ git gud, you're probably garbage and need sleeper as a crutch
-

you're probably garbage and need sleeper as a crutch
This tells me that you use it a crutch, just use a -blam!-ing sniper, it's not that hard to outgun sleeper if you know where the invader is
-
If you know where the invader is. Obviously, thing is good invaders aren't idiots and blast you from range, there is literally no defense for it, it's helped me keep the enemy from killing thier primeval for ridiculous amounts of time. Only delusional players think a 1hk weapon with no range or crit necessity is balanced in a mode you can see exactly where the enemy is
-
Sleeper is meant to do ludicrously high damage, and the invader is in a 1v4 situation, the invaders buffs are necessary to keep the fight more fair. Gambit is a gamemode where the situations you're in are situations where sleeper excels, it's not OP when it's being used in a situation sleeper is meant for, use rational thinking and you would see that it is balanced
-
Sleeper is meant to do ludicrously high damage
Irrelevant, doesn't mean it should double and break a gamemode.
and the invader is in a 1v4 situation, the invaders buffs are necessary to keep the fight more fair.
A 1vs4 situation isn't a big deal when you've got an overshield and the advantage of surprise, you absouloutely do not also need exact player locations, with 1hk items it becomes far too easy.
Gambit is a gamemode where the situations you're in are situations where sleeper excels, it's not OP when it's being used in a situation sleeper is meant for
There is literally no part of gambit sleeper doesn't excel, player killing, major add kills and boss dps are all good sleeper situations
use rational thinking and you would see that it is balanced
LOL no, that's backwards as hell, use common understanding that a 1 hit kill weapon with no range or crit hit drawbacks in a mode that grants you an overshield and exact player locations is beyond broken. There is no argument to if sleeper is op for gambit, it certainly is, it can single handedly carry teams who take forever to summon or kill thier primevil the only argument is if we should or what we should do about it
-
Invader vision is part of the process, it makes the game mode fun. If they were to take it out then invaders shouldn't glow with flamboyant red passion.. the invadees should.
-
Instead of nerfing the sleeper or taking away ALL heavy from invaders just make it so that invaders only keep one magazine of heavy ammo when going into the portal
-
That's still 3 free kills with sleeper. Why don't we just remove the player icon? They nothing needs to be nerfed
-
I really like the invader vision makes it soooo much fun. And when u only get 30 secs to hunt it would be too easy to slaughter the invaders if they take it away
-
Removing the invader vision will force players to actually search for thier prey, they already have an overshield, no need for icons on top of that
-
If u can hit with all 3 rounds. I call that skill. Exotic heavies should be one hit kills
-
If you can hit all 3 rounds? All you need to do is body shot and from any range too, they have a huge icon on thier head, sleeper is easy mode, I held off a team that had a head start of 7 minutes on the boss with it, we won because I kept going over and wiping the team making the boss full health
-
I miss on a regular basis man its not easy as ppl claim it is man. I still think limiting invaders to one magazine of heavy is the way to go, even for swords just reduce the amount of sword charges kept when jumping thru the portal
-
I have yet to miss in gambit with sleeper, you just aim from distance, charge for a sec and body shot Swords aren't a problem, you need to get close vs 4 enemies so there's actual risk. As for limiting ammo same problem, 3 free kills without any effort is unbalanced, there is no drawbacks to using it. Remvoing icons is the best idea, you actually need to hunt
-
Not enough time to hunt imo, im all for it if they up the timer to like 45 secs
