What's the best hand cannon for a hand cannon noob to help with this quest line?
I'm not a fan of these weapons so need a decent one. Maybe a faster fire rate or bigger range?

I’d recommend crimson if it’s available to you

6 RisposteModificato da Uncanny_Vale: 9/10/2018 9:55:55 PMAfter many hours of pain I managed to complete the “defeat 5 invaders” step in gambit. I found the most effective weapons were Sturm and Drang. Kill the adds with Drang which overloads Sturm - when someone invades switch to Sturm which can usually take out an invader relatively quickly. However it takes more luck than anything else. You have to camp near the invader spawn points (which are usually the opposite side of the map to where the action is). Then you have to hope the guy invading doesn’t go straight into his super or hit you with a rocket launcher/sleeper simulant. I was lucky I got a few easy kills off a guy that had no idea what he was doing. It’s more miss than hit but after a couple of hours of pain you can get it done.

The Devil You Know is a great hand cannon...... I used better devils and got the gambit part done in like 4 matches.
-
2 RisposteAt first I was trying with my kill clip/outlaw better devils but it felt too slow for me. Then I switched to my Trust and it was so easy from there.

1 RispondiCrimson is very forgiving. If you doing Gambit then use a Nightstalker to capture Invader. Extra damage and it keeps them in place is always a good thing. ...now if the other people on my team would stop stealing the kills with non-hand cannons that would be great.

Crimson

dire promise. Vertical recoil and very little recoil at that
-
Better devils worked for me

My personal favorite is the Ballyhoo Mk. 27. It feels so crispy. Use a 140 rpm that feels right for you. Pair it with fighting lion. It’s pretty easy to do. I had trouble with it too.

7 RisposteBetter devils is awesome Crimson is a crutch for crap players The raid hand cannon is really good

Modificato da Talia Sendua: 9/11/2018 10:32:47 AMTen paces is good.

2 RisposteI’m using Crimson. The problem is not getting the kills. The problem is that the kills won’t register unless you win the match. I find it way harder to win the matches especially when you’re matched with a team that losses 50+ motes per game to mobs.

Easy to use scrub cannon? Definitely Crimson.
-
Crimson is a great HC, and handles a lot like a pulse rifle so it’s likely your best shot
-
ikelos, better devils, ten paces.
-
Trust from Gambit.
-
I used crimson and ikelos handcannon. The 5 kills in gambit are a pain in the ass no mater what. But the 25 headshots were so easy with this combo. I got 14 in one game.

Dire promise Better devils Midnight coup Dfa
-
Duke my.44

Crimson just crimson

Since random rolls came about, just about anything with the right perks! Trust is quite good, but I've been using one of the new void hand cannons (I think there's only 2 in the collections?? Can't remember the name??), it's pretty good at hitting the mark and hits pretty hard as well!
-
Crimson definitely makes things go much quicker.
-
For the gambit part i just used crimson with the master work for the added range took me about three to four games to get it, the strikes for me was the worst part as the only void hc i had given the singe today was a slow tangled shore hc with void dragonfly and quickdraw. For the pvp i used crimson and went into rumble

Sturm with the catalyst worked wonders for me
