You’re telling me these players with kdr of .5 are running around getting 5.0 kdr in a game now? What happened to the skill? Where did it go? Everything I knew is all gone.... all it is snipers and rushing 1 hit shot guns.... lol seriously? Is this what’s happening? D1 pvp fell apart towards the end because of this. It now became a slug fest. I seriously hope this is not the way it’s gonna be... I will adapt to it, however It takes no skill lol.

There are different types of skill. Shotguns due to their cqc nature require positional skill. Meaning if someone can consistently be close enough to OHK he's quite good. If you're as "skilled" as you say you are you should have no problem 3 tapping him with a hand cannon before he gets in OHK range. OHK weapons being more available also means a person actually has a chance to fight back in an out numbered situation. I tend to prefer longer ttk myself (for single engagements anyway) but it's never really fit destiny. Destiny has always been at it's best at blistering speeds.

2 RisposteI have killed so many of those shotgun rushers because they do just that. Unplanned rushes. 80% of the time I can kill a Shottyboi before they even get to me with my Handcannon. Just gotta try outplaying them all. Feels so satisfying when you do!

4 RisposteI’d say it still takes skill to be good with a shotty. I’m awful with them, so due to all the enclosed areas just being full of shotguns now, I’m just staying out of those areas.

4 RisposteIts the opposite actually. Everyone has these weapons and each encounter now comes down to who outplays who, not how many people are holding hands. Theres actually a skill ceiling now.
