Is that why when i do the calus boss fight it's a pain in the ass to get any type of ammo? The struggle be real when calus has 20% health left an i end up having no ammo and have to use a pulse grenade to do some damage.

no thats just a case of LITERALLY unloading everything on the boss. its usually a good sign, as putting ALL of your ammo down-range USUALLY means good DPS.
