NOW DO YOU FINALLY AGREE THAT BATTLE ROYALE IS RUINING GAMING???
So as you guys know, Black Ops 4 is having Battle Royale and I made a poll about that. Most of you said yes, Battle Royale is ruining gaming. But now BATTLEFIELD 5 IS GOING TO HAVE IT. The genre is becoming increasingly impossible to avoid with YouTubers spamming it for money, major IPs integrating it into their games, and ads for it everywhere (at least in my experience.) It's a cancer and it's affecting gaming. You can't avoid it at this point, and that's what I have a problem with, how it's shoved down your throat. NOT EVERYONE LIKES BATTLE ROYALE. YOUTUBERS AND STREAMERS DO NOT SPEAK FOR ALL OF US.

Need a mid ground option l, message games, but they’re not ruining anything. Just wish there was a bit more variety in content. Battlefields battle royale sounds like it be pretty cool

It sucks even more because alot of the youtubers I used to watch are only uploading br. Now I have this huge dry spell of videos because the br videos are so stale at this point.

i still don't see the issue with them including a game mode that is currently popular. how does it affect the game? i think people are still angry because BO4 doesn't have a campaign, thinking it's due to the BR mode that got added, while in reality a campaign wasn't planned at all to begin with.

Unlike in CoD they are not exchanging it for other content, they just add it in. I do not see why anyone could have a problem with that... So you think more content is bad ? I think this only proves how easy it is to add BR to your game so Activision is just lazy by skipping content in favor for it.

I like BR. I really think everyone is doing it as a tech demonstration though. Putting that many players in a single match is relatively new.

To my knowledge, Mini Ladd and BigJigglyPanda dont play BR games. The former made a point to say he doesnt like Fortnite, the latter hasnt uploaded a BR video.

Bias poll is bias. I dont personally love battle royal games, but neither do i feel they are ruining anything. It is just a new game type that has become very popular currently. I dont see the issue with a new game mode coming about. In fact there are other game modes like halo 5s war games that i would like to see catch on more as well. It seems that bungie liked the idea anyways since a variant of it is in the next DLC.

I don't play br games or find anything appealing about them. But I don't think they are ruining gaming. First as long as it's just another game mode and not the only game mode I don't see how it harms anything. But also it's at least innovation in the gaming genre. It's not one I'm interested in but a lot of people seem to enjoy it and that's good. Mobas are also pretty new but I don't really care for them but I recognize many others do and that's fine.

My friends are forcing me to try it but i just hate it. Played a few round and i was glad that fortnite and h1z1 are free. I guess i am to old to hype this genre

Anyone else hear the big groan in the room when the devs announced it during EA Play yesterday? A few people clapped and cheered, but the audience really didn't sound enthusiastic about it

1 RispondiMeh. It’s just another game mode. No different then CTF or Deathmatch. It is annoying when games make sacrifices for it though (like Blops4 sacrificing campaign; but does anyone really play cod for the campaign?).
