Actually all the smgs and most auto rifles are the meta at the moment along with vigilance wing, i do find it sad that the pvp community cares so much about their kda and some of the subpar rewards from the crucible glory rank. I frankly haven't touched antiope d in quite a while, especially getting its counterpart from new monarchy, a 600 rpm sub with high caliber rounds is so filthy, it actually pairs pretty well with polaris lance and other energy scouts. however what i dont understand is why nobody is using Neiflhiem frost its a bloody nameless midnight with kill clip and its a wonderful gun. however some of the guns i really grown to like are the nightfall weapons specifically the duty bound and the dfa, both really nice weapons that look good and sound great as well i personally cant wait for random rolls because of one reason, being able to get a 180-200 rpm scout with the song of justice model, no disrespect to the current gun but the rolls are horrible they could have given it opening shot to make it more lethal and i used a lot of side arms in d1 (played on a friends account, i made and played the warlock) had the binding blaze sidearm and i got a pretty nice roll with it as well and whenever he saw me slap that puppy on in place of a shotgun in the crucible he knew i was throwing down the gauntlet XD

The crutches make it harder to play the game. The leaning on them while trying to aim. They seriously impede mobility. Though they do extend my melee range.

So you deliberately use weapons that you know will get outplayed? Why?

You can't fault people for using what works best, especially with a juicy reward at the end of a long grind, such as the claymore. Why would anybody give up free rounds to the enemy? I also use off meta weapons because I personally enjoy them and can be quite effective with them against most teams. However, some friends and I went up against a stacked team of 4 wormhusk arcstrider with graviton lances and antiopes yesterday, and we got absolutely slaughtered. Is that fun? No, absolutely not Do I fault them for it? No, not really. If they're going for the claymore, they have every right to try to win their matches.

Run prometheus lens+peace by consensus. It may be a garbage loadout but it’s fun as hell. Prometheus lens is surprisingly decent and it’s so satisfying getting a kill with the worst legendary kinetic in the game. I tbag every time I get a kill with consensus. It’s great

People will always use the fastest killing weapons.
