Downvote whatever you like and scream it's a year too late (which it is) but it looks like the game is finally returning to Destiny 1 standards, a game i grinded for years. Haven't been playing D2 except for some Iron Banner these past months but i think i will give it a go i guess when Forsaken launches.
Random rolls and 6v6 gameplay is a good improvement and the new subclasses looke nice though i still miss the Ward in it's full glory and the selfrez Warlock though voidwalkers are the only way to go ofcourse.
Anyway, my apologies for being positive in here.
edit:
for those who wonder if i know anything about marketing: yes, in fact it has been my business for some decades so i can see past the flashy video's. I only look at the new features and they seem oke (forgot abouth the weapon slot changes earlier).
edit 2:
Thanks for your respons, to quote Public Enemy:
"Don't believe the hype it's a sequel"
The specs look great, the supers are very promissing and yes, Bungie should deliver finally.

Modificato da IRaidWithAussies: 6/8/2018 7:58:34 AMThis post had just over 220 likes and magically (I've been on these forums since last night) it received a upvote count of 500 randomly in less than 1 minute. It's pretty pathetic that mods are doing that
-
23 RisposteI enjoyed a lot of that trailer also but I did not like the new game mode because I started with this cool competition to see who could get the most kills and then they wrecked it by allowing someone to come over to the other side
-
Was hoping to see what actually changed... not in spoiler way but HOW the weapon system will work, HOW the collections and lore tabs work WILL weapons shaders and etc back date and finally ANYTHING about a mod/armor system improvement. That’s a lot of money to spend on a single game. And they definitely didn’t sell me on the annual pass. They seemed to try to temper expectations a lot when it came to those.

I loved it, looks promising

Modificato da zNapSack: 6/8/2018 3:49:36 AMI liked what they showed as well. It certainly appears to be an improvement over what we have currently. I dare say it looks more like D1. Currently the ads deal significantly more damage than they did in D1. Although it's not that they're difficult to kill. Rather they're simply an annoying PITA that can't be ignored. Although that may have been their goal, it resulted in something that was most likely unintended: It made the game not fun, but rather annoying. Although bosses take noticeably less damage to down than they did in D1 it's not so much less as to trivialize the encounters. Hence, as I recall (and I may be wrong) that aspect of the forthcoming DLC appears to be the way it was in D1. If so, I can see why. It's often unwise to change what works, simply to claim a change was made. Or to make changes simply to keep people busy. Which reminds me of when my children were little. Hell, it reminds me of when I was little. "I'm bored" or "This is SO boring!", etc. And my favorite "There's nothing to do!" To which I replied, and had been told: 'Then I'll find something for you to do.' Of course they/I never liked what that turned out to be. So caution is advised. >:}

I liked the forsaken trailer too

So hype for this can't wait until launch!
-
Looks good I'm getting it as well
-
Yeah...looks awesome. Worth the gamble. I’m in.
-
I'm gonna get this, I love destiny, and while it angers me to know end with shitty decisions and short content, I will most likely always get any DLC that comes out, because I want to, and because It appears to anger salt lords

3 RisposteModificato da AXENIC SECOND: 6/8/2018 2:54:41 AMI like it to. I’m only concerned that they’re using corporate speak to hide how shallow the DLC will truly be. I really want to believe in Bungie again, but they’ve been bad lately. I’m going to wait a week this time. Maybe. I said that last time, and then pre-ordered two days before launch.
-
Definitely looking forward to it! The future for Destiny is looking bright again.

4 RisposteNerf the price tag please
-
Why are you sorry? It looked incredible, you shouldn't have to be sorry for liking new content. The ninjas should be banning the haters so that we can talk about things we like without being attacked.
-
4 RisposteFool me once, shame on you. I've only been playing since TTK, so they've yet to do it twice.

4 RisposteApprox 20hrs into The Witcher 3. It is amazing!! D2 is straight trash and people that are actually excited really are foolish. If you purchased the digital deluxe edition of disappointment (like me) and got burned there is no way you would continue to invest money in this franchise. There are some huge releases coming on the scene when Forsaken drops. Do yourself a favour and take that opportunity to play some other games. My recommendation is to only purchase future Bungie products when they release GOTY editions. Fool me once shame on you. Fool me, lie to me, cheat me, numerous times then you must be a Destiny fan.

1 RispondiModificato da AOSpare: 6/7/2018 7:46:46 PMI'm looking forward to it. Warmind got me back into it after taking a break.

4 RisposteI’m just annoyed that there was no reason to remove these things and it took them one year to eat crow and realize they’re idiots. The game was in an exceptional place the day before Ghaul arrived. Overall it was probably the version of Destiny and I see no good reason for them to do what they did other than to make the pvp crowd happy as many of the changes that came in 2 felt “very pvp” oriented. Sure there have been a few good things in 2 but there have been far too many negatives for me to be excited for a dlc that’s “going to save the game”, as most people are claiming. Especially when now Bungie is throwing out some kind of bullshit subscription. Those clowns can’t even make this game right or it’s DLCs but folks want jump on board that subscription and preorder train again....smh. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me, but not a third. I guess those folks who are so hung up on the hype train must like pissing away money on potential shit. More power to em. Bungie has ensured that I will never preorder anything video game related ever again thanks to this last year of bullshit. I imagine they’ve forced many people into that boat. Their sales looked good prior to D2’s release thanks to all the great player experiences and word of mouth from those players over the three years of Destiny, if I was Bungie I would just be hoping to break even in the fall. If numbers never lie then Bungie is gonna need some real substance to bring back all the players they’ve alienated or pushed away with their poor management of this game over the last year.

I too greatly enjoyed the Forsaken Reveal Trailer. It seemed to rekindle a long lost love for a game. It had my heart racing, my mind wandering, and my faith in bungie as a company rose. At the end of the day, it was just a trailer, a lot is yet to be revealed about forsaken. This is a good thing as if we knew everything before we bought it that would kill the thrill of exploration, a cornerstone of the gaming experience. I enjoyed the trailer but what i didn't enjoy was the further monetization of a game we are not yet sold on. Destiny 2 lost so many fans in the "collapse" of destiny 2. It is because I was driven to the point of leaving destiny that I will withhold my purchase of the forsaken expansion, I have been burned, and do not desire to fund bungie further because of it. That being said, I have no quarrel with anyone else buying it, even if it is out of "blind faith".

2 RisposteIm only in it for the possibility of triple sniper loadout for the luls

1 RispondiFinally some positivity! Btw you need both the previous dlcs before you can get Forsaken.
-
No need to apologize, honey. I am completely in the same boat.

Lol Il be getting it. Why? Because I like to chill the -blam!- out and play games while my child's in bed and my misses goes out some evenings. I go to work pay my way in life so Il buy whatever the hell I want. Cry all you want I literally couldn't care. Why people feel the need to post why they won't be buying this is beyond me. No one cares apart from the other moaning cry babies.
