Downvote whatever you like and scream it's a year too late (which it is) but it looks like the game is finally returning to Destiny 1 standards, a game i grinded for years. Haven't been playing D2 except for some Iron Banner these past months but i think i will give it a go i guess when Forsaken launches.
Random rolls and 6v6 gameplay is a good improvement and the new subclasses looke nice though i still miss the Ward in it's full glory and the selfrez Warlock though voidwalkers are the only way to go ofcourse.
Anyway, my apologies for being positive in here.
edit:
for those who wonder if i know anything about marketing: yes, in fact it has been my business for some decades so i can see past the flashy video's. I only look at the new features and they seem oke (forgot abouth the weapon slot changes earlier).
edit 2:
Thanks for your respons, to quote Public Enemy:
"Don't believe the hype it's a sequel"
The specs look great, the supers are very promissing and yes, Bungie should deliver finally.

99 RisposteWhy is everyone so happy to basically pay again for D1? 😂
-
15 RisposteI know I'm gonna get heat for saying this, but hell, I'm gonna pre-order it.
-
I feel the same way, always good with some positivity m8 <3
-
1 RispondiHell... I’m buying it. $80 is chump change.
-
Sweet, glad to see you might be back guardian. I'm excited for the new DLC also. Seems to hold a lot of good things
-
I pre-ordered Deluxe Edition, I'm playing and enjoying D2, really looking forward to this content.
-
I really like the look of Forsaken myself. The changes comming in the updates will improve the game and make it more fun for those who want random rolls back and Gambit looks like alot of fun.Looking forward to September.
-
Ya'll hyped for a nerfed dlc.. "bungi pli buff the bow its useless"
-
10 RisposteI love how it looks it's just bungie have cucked destiny 2 players too many times I don't feel like I can trust them anymore...
-
4 RisposteI'm torn on it. On one hand, Bungie is implementing so many amazing changes and features that look really good. On the other, Bungie has lied and disappointed us too many time.
-
3 RisposteI do agree that there's alot to like in the teaser. But to expect players to spend 60 to 100 dollars on a complete dumpster fire for the first year of this games lifespan, then expect us to pay 40 to 80 dollars(depending on the season pass) just to have this game where it should've been at launch is total BS. Players shouldn't have to pay up to 180$ to enjoy a game a year later.
-
6 RisposteOf course you like it. You should like it, as bungie is great at hyping up future product. The problem is they have been pretty bad at delivering on the hype.
-
27 RispostePrepare to be disappointed.
-
fanboys are back in full force! 🍿 stay tuned til next week

23 RisposteModificato da Atomic RG: 6/7/2018 3:24:31 PMAnd this is why we can’t have nice things. I used to hate when people said “This game sucks because of the fans” but I’m starting to think that’s 100% true. You guys are way too eager to reward them for laziness, greed and dishonesty, even when they make those things blatantly obvious, which they have. And that’s why they won’t change their ways, because they know you people will continue to throw money at them no matter what they do. Call me crazy, but I would never be excited to pay that much money for something that MIGHT put this shitty game back on the same track as its PREDECESSOR, especially since they won’t even be able to achieve that until a whole year after the initial release date, which seems pathetic to anyone with half a brain and a bit of common sense, especially considering we’re talking about a company such as Bungie, and not some low-budget independent developer who could probably work faster and more efficient than these clowns. But who am I calling a clown? They’re the ones who fooled us. They purposely made this game so lackluster after hyping it up, because now everybody would be happy if they just went back to D1 standards, and that’s exactly what they wanted, because they are incapable of creating a sequel that shows some kind of improvement or innovation, so they wanted you fans to be satisfied with more of the same horseshit from the last 4 years, and now they don’t have to work very hard to gain your approval, because, like I said, you’re so burnt out from the disappointment that you’d be happy enough if they just made everything like D1 again, and repeating the same formula is much easier than actually improving. Like I said, maximum profits for minimal effort. Think back to September before release, would you want to have anything to do with this game if they had told you it was just going to be a downgraded version of the first game with literally every single feature and aspect being watered-down and made less fun? (and that’s exactly what D2 is). They sucked you in with the hype, gave you a little taste of what you wanted, but not the whole thing, just so that you would be left wanting more, even if it’s basically just a glorified, over-priced Destiny 1 expansion. Open your eyes and you might save some money.
-
What are you sorry for? It's your opinion. You like it, then go enjoy it when it comes out. Please give an accurate review of the expansion so I can gauge whether it's worth it or not as I'm not going to pre-order anything from Bungie again.

9 RisposteHonestly I dont see anything they havent pull of on the taken king... what disgust me is how they really are following a marketing plan and everybody seems to not seeing it.... d1? released with flaws... 2 crappy dlcs added to improve it a bit (dark below and house of wolves).... then we had taken king (major dlc) that cotrected and made game better, finally rise of iron to keep ppl hooked. D2? Released with flaws...2 crappy dlcs to improve it a bit (curse of osiris and warmind).... then we have the forsaken.. And now also notices this: Ppl on taken king got: 3 new supers New weapon: swords Fixes to the story telling and stuff that people asked for! Biggest raid ever made (thats how they advertise it) What ppl will get on forsaken: 3 new supers New weapon: bows Fixes to the end game and stuff that people asked for! We are also working on biggest raid that we hope you will like! See what I mean? They had always been able to give us the content we want... but they are following the shady way of business like any other company that sees stock values. Dont get me wrong, like always this forsaken dlcs looks promising, heck I love the idea of bows on destiny... but ive learned my lesson, will wait till release.. stop preorder for their schemes, and wait and see what they deliver, instead of looking fordward for something that might not be that good.

6 Risposte"Marketing" has NEVER been a problem for Bungie. What they actually release IS the problem.
-
No need to apologize for something you like. All I saw was the Vidoc, and thought it was just another polished Bungie production. In my opinion, the actual DLC cannot live up to the Vidoc.
-
Please watch

Honestly it looks amazing and I've not played D2 since launch and am probably gonna get the deluxe edition and hop back into d2 soon it seems to fix many of the things I wanted fixing and looks like what is needed. Ignore all of the haters who tell you you are falling for a marketing scheme if you like something buy it and let those who "wasted" their money on d2 cry about it like they think they're entitled to everything they want and if they don't get it then they should be compensated. All in all d2 was a good game better than most I've played recently it just lacked a reason to grind it but it looks like they're fixing some of these problems with warmind and forsaken so can't wait.
-
I’m working and I like the forsaken pre view. I play casually but forsaken and gambit look FGGGKING SIIIIICK :p. So I will pre order deluxe edition at end of July. Saving up a little first :) days of play sale and xbox sale for e3 ahhhh ;) Liked the vi doc though and it looks good and more changes are good too.
-
3 RisposteIt won't transform this game which is what everyone wants
-
Sure there was plenty of stuff that looked good in the trailer, but the CoO trailer looked cool too. That ended with our guardian banging their head against a wall while our ghost talked to us. The first year of D2 was an unmitigated dumpster fire, and the game now is just an unfun grind. The state of the game is worse than Vanilla D1 launch because the Vanilla sandbox was amazing and the grimore actually started to setup a lot of good stories. D2 has ruined many of those stories and the sandbox is full of cat turds. We are literally killings gods with sticks. We are now just four year olds knocking over plastic toy soldiers. I would be willing to try the expansion for free, and then IF and ONLY IF it is good I would buy the annual pass and maybe an emote. But, I've gone to them in good faith too many times. Bungie needs to come to me on this one. If they don't then, well, I'm certainly not going to them.
-
Stfu all of that armor sucked. guardians -blam!-ing look like the dump. And titans are the size of -blam!-ing cars now.
-
9 Risposteyou shouldn’t. random rolls are a cancer and so is this community for making them feel like these changes would be the right choice.
