6 RisposteWait, you're saying the endless identical duplicates to delete isn't a rewarding loot experience?!
-
2 Rispostehow will getting a shitty version of a Uriel's Gift make the game better? #askingforafriend.
-
4 RisposteNO!!!!!
-
Please don't. I would rather spend 1,000 hours playing with a good gun than 1,000 playing with a bad gun trying to GET a good gun. It was boring then, it would be just as boring now. There's a roll for every flavor in D2 already, there's no need to bring RNG into this all over again.
-
4 Risposterealy? this is getting -blam!-ing anyoing to me. random rolls where one of the turn offs in Destiny. instend of getting a Firefly Imagoo i got shit 1000 times in a row. same goes to the other guns. i prefer having one well balanced perk over many diffrent shit perks. and d1 had ton of these.
-
Gtfoh, god rolls sucked because you grinded for bs guns that were way op compared to others, and some were so godly, but sucked if you weren't on point with their use that they honestly were ruining D1 for me. Yeah I'm going to say hell no on the random rolls. Wait for the better weapon mods. We'll see some good stuff out of that.
-
5 RisposteNo. The game is not boring because there aren't random rolls. The game is boring because there isn't enough to do with the items that we get. Random rolls is a false grind. And the truth is that no one actually wants them anyway. Not even the OP. What you actually want is a means to get the items you want and have them tailored to your playstyle. You THINK you want RNG to determine this for you 100%, but what you really want is a drop based system where you have a CHANCE to get the things you need to customize your items as you see fit. In D1 people wanted rerolling and weapon forging, which pretty much negates random rolls. Same amount of posts complaining about getting 20+ crappy Eyasluna's, Grasps, whatever. You want options, not randomization. You want something to hunt for, not the same shit to hunt for. Random rolls is a crappy and lazy system. What you should be asking for is more mods, more customization options, and less RNG.

Modificato da DarthBra: 2/28/2018 10:42:41 AMCouldn’t agree more beautiful game but nothing to grind for. I have never ever played a game like this before. Mario 64 collected all 120 stars and kept playing. Goldeneye N64 got all guns kept playing. Halo Reach got inheritor and kept playing. In fact I have three online inheritor accounts I played Reach so much. What gets me is the above games all had set rolls there was no random roll armour or guns in them but I played anyway. This game is just so empty that by the time you complete it there is literally nothing to look forward too. You guys waste your time on stupid emblems when there is so sooo much wrong with this game. You deluded fools. This game just has nothing, nothing to keep you interested. I can’t be bothered to play any milestone and all weapons and armour are the same, no reason to grind means no reason to play. This is the most hollow lack lustre game I have ever played. Just bought a PS4 pro and Horizon zero dawn so good bye Destiny.

destiny2 is boring with everything they changed for the worse... did they really think people will be happy with it? well, wake up call
-
3 RisposteHaving random rolls won’t change the boring archetypes .. There better off leaving it how it is and providing mods “like they said they were” to alter the gun as per the users choice .. Instead all we got are damage mods , : Where’s our : Counterbalance Explosive rounds Stability And so on . You can’t just remove a serious draw to the game and not balance it out with a proper addition . FFS I don’t understand how it’s that hard to grasp .

Thats only one of MANY things that makes destiny 2 boring.

2 RisposteModificato da draycole: 2/27/2018 11:55:27 PMHow do random weapon rolls fix any of the following: Boring reskins Boring story Boring guns Boring armor Boring missions Boring characters Boring patrol spaces Eververse Lack of content Lack of meaningful content Boring mission structure Terrible AI Lack of interesting ways to interact with our environment ?

4 RisposteModificato da Derik8181: 2/27/2018 9:55:08 AMI would love RNG back and many many more guns and gear. Don't see it happening. Although, say having 5 to 10 mods to add to and upgrade each mod with verying perks as they get stronger would also be rewarding. With say 100+ different mods to choose, common uncommon rare legendary and exotic. Pick 5 and only one exotic mod. The more I think of it it would be great as well. Either way, changes are drastically needed.
-
Oh, good idea....sorry, we dont accept those here.
-
2 RisposteI feel ya, unfortunately they don't care. Random rolls, with the potential of rolling godlike weapons/armor is the only thing that can hope to save this game from a sad death. I'll still keep playing, because I love the idea of Destiny, but it's dead.
-
4 RisposteAm I the only one that doesn't care about random rolls OR more weapons/armor? What would really fix the gear situation is making weapons that both feel distinct and are realistically viable. Everyone knows that 450 RPM auto rifles rule the game, and uriel's gift/the number/positive outlook all feel virtually the same. They don't even look different. I currently have a full vault of non-duplicate weapons, and I use 5-10 of them. Every once in a while I get bored and try something different, but mostly they just suck in comparison to the top-tier.
-
Yep. Static rolls are an anachronism that should have been consigned to the dustbin of gaming history.
-
Why Bungie won't bring some content from Destiny 1 to Destiny 2? Mainly guns... and armors... but most importantly guns.
-
I think most of the polls show that 80% want RNG back
-
3 RisposteHow about instead of random rolls, we grind for random weapon attachments? (sights, barrels, magazines, grips, stocks, perks, etc...) And maybe even give us the opportunity to forge/change our weapon's looks based on different crafting styles. Or maybe even make the attachments tiered such as green, blue, legendary, or exotic attachments- each with their own unique style that adds a unique look to your weapon. It would allow us to customize our guns with the attachments/perks that we want to play with instead of grinding for a 'god roll'. I hate getting a weapon that has 2 out of 3 solid perks. I would rather grind for that third perk, than a whole gun. Just a thought...
-
For anyone who wants RNG back, how would that work with masterwork stats? Do i lose them if switch weapons? Or does it remove the masterwork concept completely? Or is there some weird transfer system?
-
1 RispondiMade this poll/post a while back, under ☆Best of Both Rolls☆ just thought I would insert it here, hopefully it gets seen by someone with influence... Trying to look at this like the Vex, Past&Present&Future. No one system is perfect but perhaps we can reach one that considers everyones opinion. 1st let us try to UNDERSTAND the position of both sides. ☆ Static Rollers want a legit weapon that does what it says it does. The 'Get what you pay for' mentality. I can empathize, some want to know what they are going to get, and not want to spend endless hours chasing a gun that RNG might not drop. Better Devils, Uriels Gift, Last Hope, Nameless have all made a Name for themselves (yup, intended) because of what they do. Every1 knows what to expect, its power, limitations and capabilites. That is Fair, these are trusted to do what the Devs intended. ☆However over time, once these weapons are obtained (by majority), that sense of discovery, urge to do an activity, and loot at the end of the tunnel looses its flair. Moreover the only difference between my Uriels and yours is the Shader&Masterwork trait. Bottom line Diversity and Variety get the short end right? They suffer currently. The sandbox becomes stale because:what is good is good, and what is bad is essentially bad. There is no mystery or hidden meta. Just look at Trails report for evidence. Fighting Calus? Use the Meta. Playing Trails? Use the Meta. No sense of discovery or 'ahh' moments. ☆Random Rollers want excitement, the chase of the unknown, and don't mind the endless hours of grinding because: they will play the content anyway until the next batch of goodies drops. So give us something to chase. Through all those hours of playing, every gun may not be G-roll status, but some hidden gems may be found in the mire, and at best be FUN to use. ☆ Over the course of time some of the weapons obtained have their own unique sense of flavor. You bond with it knowing that maybe your arsenal is truly original. A Nightshade with full-auto trigger system instead of kill clip, Better Devils with Triple tap, Jiangshi with Rampage, Mannanan with third eye, Uriels gift with Candle sight. Just examples of how diverse and expanded the sandbox meta COULD be. Raid loadouts would differ, crucible builds would be more creative and less restrictive. The longevity between seasons would increase, new stratigies could be fabricated, and the skill cieling would rise. More loot for "Endgame Chasers". ☆ Even in D1 there was a meta with Random Rolls. Clever Dragon, Matador, And almost every Palindrome was good, at least viable. However now in D2 the problem with all Static Rolls is that there literally is no competition or challenger to a static meta. New guns added at the moment get compared to whats good now and if it falls short it will collect dust in the vault. With a Hybrid System in place Guardians have the CHOICE what to chase & would add the distinct personality and uniqueness to their builds, not to mention overall sandbox. Sense of Random Mystery for the Endgame Chasers. Consitiency for the Causal. Best of both Rolls. ☆ Static Rolls drop in these events: Normal Nightfall, Normal raid, Strikes, Non-Flashpoint Public Events, Quickplay, Weekly vendor resets. Rahool the Fool ☆Random Rolls Drop in these events: Prestige Nightfall&Raid, Flashpoint Public Events, Lost Sectors, Heroic Adventures and Strikes, Competitive Crucible(encourage less rage quiting) and Tyra Khan(she needs some love) ☆Additionally they could do Arms day-Choose an archetype of weapon(H.C., Auto rifle, smg) on Arms day he has both the static and Random roll that way if you need it you can aquire it, and if you have it you might get that G-roll. Also Planet vendors should Drop both rolls every engram qnd offer both on reset. The choice. ☆This may not please everyone in all camps, but i do feel it would please majority no matter your preference. Got only a few hours to grind? Chase that static Auto rifle you missing. Got the whole day off with nothing to do? Create a stream, load up prestige Arms Dealer chasing that random roll for hours on end. Bottom line i think the CHOICE of the chase is just as important. Give us the choice then leave the Decision to us. ☆Id love to hear more from other Guardians, we alone did not make this community but together we can build like the last city, feel free to express and discuss, i am but one Guardian, but all our opinions matter. ☆p.s. thanks Bungie for making a Destiny we can share.

Modificato da GolemInTheGears: 2/27/2018 6:47:09 PMI dont know if throwing more guns into the loot pool would fix the system. I have a vault full of guns I'll never use and they are only there for collection purposes. And I'm not against RNG but I think it's the least interesting option since D1 had it already. There should be a system in place where I can take the worst gun in the game, and modify it somehow to make it useful. Otherwise it seems like wasted effort making these guns noone uses. If that is through RNG, modifiers, or a gun leveling system, it doesn't matter which as long as it exists. Also, I think blue engrams and duplicate purple engrams should be rolled into the system somehow, to give them a usefulness. It would be easier to roll it in a gun leveling system than the other 2, but everything should work together seamlessly. Bungie just needs accept that either the game will either be balanced with static guns and everyone using the basic same loadouts which to me is very boring or they can add some depth to each gun which causes the unbalance but adds a lot more interesting scenarios and fun.

3 RisposteIt doesn't need random rolls . It needs more stuff in general. There is absolutely nothing to work towards.
-
This is the only thing that can save Destiny. Anything short of the return of random perk rolls is a waste of time.
