To those of you who defend Micro-Transactions/Eververse.... The most common defense I see is, “without Micro-Transactions, Bungie wouldn’t be able to release DLC, Updates etc.
Obviously you don’t know the Bungie I grew up with with the Halo Series. Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, Halo Reach had zero Micro-Transactions, yet, Bungie had the money to pump out Map Packs for their Halo Games, they had to money to pump out Updates etc.
so your defense in support of Micro-Transactions/Eververse is an Invalid one. Bungie can do all they want to do with the Destiny Series like they did with the Halo series by pumping out a finished Game that everyone wants to buy, collect the money they get from the millions of players that buy the game to create DLC, push out updates etc. and just leaving out the Micro-Transactions altogether. The Eververse must go. Period. If you don’t like it, don’t play the game. While the rest of us enjoy a Destiny game that doesn’t have the Eververse in it. If you want to gamble, go to Vegas and blow your money on Games based on chance.

2 RisposteEververse is fine. You idiots are pathetic. Don’t spend money on it and guess what it goes away. You are bitching at bungie for nothing - you should be mad at the players who support it. You your -blam!-ing brain you sheep

"they're just cosmetics!" "just play the game and you'll get everything!" "nothing in eververse is overpowered so stop complaining" "just don't buy anything!" "it isn't ruining the game in any way!" "it's free content I don't know why you're all so mad about it!"

15 RisposteModificato da an engram full of bees: 12/26/2017 6:31:41 AMHalo and Destiny are completely different games. Map packs are nothing compared to the new gear, quests, and endgame activities that are added in an expansion. Bungie could just add tons of Crucible maps and neglect the PvE side of the game, if they wanted to. Rather, if we wanted them to. I’d be very surprised if the majority actually wanted that.

Modificato da ││█║▌│: 12/26/2017 7:46:53 PMMy only issue with Eververse is that people are paying for mystery boxes. People should be able to pay for the item that they want. Thinking that Bungie couldn't do DLC without Eververse is stupid, just like it's stupid to think that its removal would have the benefits some people think it would.

Modificato da T1m_is_Here: 12/26/2017 7:00:00 PMThe ones defending the RNG slot machine are the kids who cried nerf every time they died by any kind of gun in pvp. and ruined PVE in PVP with D1 and D2. These kids have been ruining our game since it launched. Not shocked they don't understand why "predatory practices" are a bad thing.

Noticed how you had to stop at a certain halo now that it has actual p2w loot crates. The things you listed was nothing but the times. The games are also done when purchased. No continuing stories, maps, etc.. Just pvp maps. Teamed up with Microsoft, the kings of dlc and timed content in order to usher in said ways of today. To make a better comparison, you truly have to list games within the last 4 years that have a constant presence rather than just map packs. Not defending micro transactions, but just pointing out the flaws of the statement. I remember having to feed quarters into an arcade machine to reset my life or to continue on time... Bungies only game is destiny. I know it does not seem like it, but they are just trying to create a living off of their only game. If people like and want to gamble on an rng loot box of cosmetic things, so be it. But as long as everything is in game and can be earned, I see no issues. I am purposely not spending money on the tree week event just to see what it is I end up with... if I do not get most things I want, then I will fully agree with the negative comments that the rng is limited to boost the chance of gamers buying engrams. We shall see.

It baffles me that people are defending a slot machine that's enticing people to insert money for content that should have been in the game and not behind microtransactions. 1. "You're getting them for free if you play the game" but it's not necessary to have them behind the Eververse. D1 was able to manage without doing that, why D2? 2. "It's just cosmetics" but that still doesn't make it right to treat the fanbase like this. You may not care but there are other people who do. 3. Poor whining babies" is this even a valid argument? Everyone earns a different amount of income and some are less fortunate of how they can spend it than others. They already bought the game, it's baffling to think Bungie is just going to expect people to pay even more for content they already paid for. Everywhere, it's these 3 common argument used against the revolters. Each one less valid than the last.
