Meanwhile in game everyone is still flocking to Tess.
Despite the broken board and all the over the top media articles if you actually play the actual game and actually head to the Tower you'll see a steady stream of Guardians cheerfully running over to Tess to either pick up some free goodies or to spend a few bucks to get more (and support the game they love).

3 RisposteIt's because everyone on the forum is either A. not even playing the game or, B. some kid on Christmas break that didn't get the game from Santa and is all pissed off. Either way, the impact on the game from people boycotting in these forums is null. I love the people who figured out you can still take advantage of everything the Eververse has to offer without purchasing silver.

19 RisposteBecause this never has and never will speak for the majority of player base. Bungie caved and gave into this kind of blackmail over SBMM. I’m hoping they stand firm this time. Otherwise anyone with an axe to grind will try to take the game hostage by blowing this place up with shitposting.

I've been buying free stuff with bright dust, have never spent a penny on silver and never will. I agree we should get some of the content while playing activitys but I'm not that bothered.

2 RisposteSpent 4000 dust on 4 pieces of armor for 2 characters. Not one penny of real money went towards them either. Can’t wait to see what’s on sale next week. I imagine with everything still in my vault and on my characters I’ll have plenty of dust to buy the rest of the armor. I’ve never cared about the free events. I’m only buying things now because an angry group of salty fanboys are bandwagoning about it. They were something fresh to play and people who like to buy things paid for it. Nothings really changed other than they expanded the loot associated with it. Still comes free. We now even get compensated for dismantling ships and speeders, something that wasn’t possible in D1. This forum will flame on anything if isn’t how “they” want it. Too bad kids, this is Bungie game. They’re driving the bus, stay on or GTFO. Money is the root of all change. Lack you bags and leave, I’ll let you know what D3 is like when it comes out in a few years. Though I’m sure all you hypocrites will be logging in and pain daily. Probably why there’re so many unlinked accounts on the bandwagon posts. Don’t want anyone know they can’t stay away from the game they claim to hate so much.

Maybe if Curse of Osiris and Expansion 2 were free updates to all players then one could make a good argument for her to stay. 2 RisposteThe forums only makes up a small portion of the player base. Many people who regularly play don’t come here or keep up with what’s actually going on in the news for this game. Take my clan as an example, 90% still play regularly but only 3 of them will check the forums.

6 Risposteyou do realize that people go there every time they level up or complete the event quest right? its designed to appear popular in this way...making people feel better about spending... Have you seen anyone in dawning armor in game? i played for several hours yesterday and didnt see a single dawning decked out player. thats more telling than the crowd in front of tess, which could be bungie bots giving the illusion of popularity (wouldnt put that past them to do)
