Last Friday, We got a fire team of 4 players because we wanted to do the trials of the nine and try to get the loot from winning 7 games in a row.
We had 3 wins and we started losing on the 4th game, once we started losing a player from the enemy team randomly disconnected, but we didn't think anything of it. This happened every time we would start losing up until we all received 7 wins. After we got our loot a player from our fire team told us he was ddossing the enemy team without our knowledge, the player that was ddossing is already banned. I logged on this morning to prepare to do the raid with some friends and I received a message saying that I was banned.
I just wanted to know if there is a chance that i may be unbanned?
I had no knowledge that he was going this until after we got our loot for winning the 7 games.

Nope. They will not discuss bans. You should have reported him immediately upon finding this out. You live, you learn.

It sucks when a random teammate ruins it for everyone. As far as Bungie can tell, you were in on it (even though you really weren't). Just be careful of those random trial runs, and if you notice anyone on the other team leaving keep an eye out.

1 RispondiYou're innocent, you didn't know, it wasn't you. You're the real victim here! As well as those excuses work with mom & dad, they won't work here. Some have had success by using the "evil twin" scenario, they're all living & gaming together on that farm where our childhood pets went to live. Good luck.

welcome to the club of the restricted players!

As mentioned, bans are not overturned (except in extremely rare cases) or discussed by Bungie publicly or privately with players. Also, there are two types of actions they take: Permanent Ban and Temporary Restriction. It is not called a ban if you are only temporary restricted for a certain amount of time, which would have been in the message you received. If you were in fact banned, then it's for a serious offense and after close investigation.

You should have known something was wrong when the winning team kept losing players. Bye bye.

Nope. Bungie is adamant about Guilt by Association bans.
