Petition for an ACTUAL RESPONSE from Bungie
Simply put as the title states. A simple request for bungie developers, customer support/service, cozmo, DeeJ, or who ever else witnesses these forum posts to provide some actual proof that the company is actually listening to the community’s concerns.
This is in no way a toxic approach or degrading rant about the Destiny 2 product. It is simply asking how do you plan to OR if you intend on fixing any of the many mentioned issues in the game stemming from the token based loot reward system, lack of unique stat rolls in weapons and gear, 4 v 4 pvp for every single game mode, raid specific loot being of cosmetic value only etc etc. Those are a few I seem to see mentioned a lot on the forums.
I’m just more interested in an actual catered response directed towards your consumers in an environment where the majority of users come for feedback and real time updates. If you have no fix actions and the game is exactly the way you intended it to be, then say that. It will be much more appreciated than any volume of silence. At least it will be honest and directed from you, the creator, and remove all speculation from your player base. Again, just looking for someone inside the company to speak out and at least let us know you are listening without a generic “we see you, and are working on it” kind of response.
Side note: Thanks again for all you have done and continue to do. Satisfying everyone at once is a difficult and unrealistic expectation. While the game may not be what many of us have expected it to be it has its strong points as well so thank you for that as well.

Edit: man I never thought so many people would actually respond and keep this conversation alive and going. Thank you to all of you who have taken the time out to push this up as high as it has gone. Hopefully we all see something whether positive or negative. The non generic response from bungie is all that matters.
Edit 2: so COZMO replies by means of copy and paste from TWAB and quoted “needed time to gather a response”. 😂😂😂 point taken. Now I’ll keep pushing for a reply that isn’t of such “thought” where you can’t say what you feel, rather you point me to a post that I already read. Who’s with me ??? Make bungie talk !!!!

WE ARE BEING MADE TO BUY AN EXPANSION JUST TO GET ACCESS TO ANY OF THIS STUFF, ALSO PRIVATE MATCHES TARGETING NEXT YEAR, THERE IS A DLC IN DECEMBER. ONCE AGAIN I HATE THIS MONEY HUNGRY TRASH THEY CALL DESTINY. I USED TO LOVE THIS FRANCHISE, NOT ANYMORE. THIS IS PROBABLY ONE OF THE WORST GAME LAUNCHES OF THE YEAR.

They will absolute react if we say something nice like: "Hey Bungie, I really like those chickens at the farm. Good job!!!" Then you get something like: "Thank you for the feedback! I will pass it on to the devs. They worked really hard on making those chickens as chickenlike as possible!"

I haven't seen one response from Bungie to their Destiny community that have been very open about seeking answers to D2 to numerous questions since launch. They've been fixing things that weren't of a huge concern not the issues at hand like what's next, why pvp is garbage, endgames a joke next to it's hard mode that has little thought to it next to the fact it betters you in no way for advantage, and that the only thing they're proud of is they made a story make sense. They just look for dumb topics to talk about and don't listen to issues and still haven't fixed a lot of cheeses in the game. They say they're figuring it out but clearly just wanted to develop something that would sell but not keep a full franchise. It's all a money game.

5 RispostePersonally I am still waiting for the whole "worlds you never want to leave" part to come around cause they have a long way to go for that bit and there are so many simple ways the could do that. To be honest I am gonna be super peeved if the DLC doesn't include an entirely new world to explore or one from the original game with new content and instead only just adds to a map already in the game(cause that would be crap). 1 RispondiWe did it guys! A response! Now all we need is crucible improvement to the max for PvP players. 4v4 will not cut it for everyone Bungie, please keep competitive 4v4 but other game modes should be 6v6 and rumble should either have 6 or 8 Guardians in a match.

New systems and rewards to give our most engaged players additional, optional pursuits. Better incentives for players who complete challenging Prestige activities. Better rewards and replay value for strikes, adventures, and Lost Sectors. Private matches for the competitive community (we are targeting early 2018). Crucible tuning like adjusted Supremacy scoring and better spawning rules. Better incentives for completing Crucible matches (and penalties for quitting competitive games). Continued improvements to Iron Banner and Faction Rallies, including uniqueness of rewards. Changes to make the mod economy more interesting and impactful. Ongoing improvements to Exotics, including adjustments to reduce instances of duplication. New ways to spend surplus currency and materials (looking at you Legendary Shards). An emote interface that allows players to equip Salty, Spicy Ramen, Six Shooter, and Flip Out all at the same time.
