30 packages is the limit.
I'm... I'm lost...
Anyone know if it's account wide or can other characters obtain 30 more? If people aren't aware. City factions, future war cult, new monarchy and dead orbit, have a limit of 30 engrams to give. 30X20=600 tokens. Therefore after obtaining 30 packages, you will only receive shaders. So if you're unlucky to obtain the armour piece or weapon that you desire, then.... herp derhp wait until the next 1!
I would like to ask why there is a limiter like this and if possible remove it please?
I mean this is feedback, a place to request change.
EDIT: 30 likes, 30 packages.... coincidence? I think not!

3 for 3 of my characters didn't get full armor sets. All New Monarchy.... but it's ok I got 44 duplicate weapons instead of gauntlets on the first 2 characters and a cheat plate on the third. Hope the victory week rumors are true and I don't have to wait for the next rally for a chance at completing the sets.

29 RisposteThere is a limiter because those shitty destiny youtubers instantly put up videos on how to exploit the system. Its all their fault. They ruin everything. First the loot cave, then the stashes, and now this. They practically just give out red flags to every loot exploit in the game.

Friggin' signed. I stopped being active in D1 due to their design choices. Now in D2, I'm facing the same thing again. If 30 engrams is cap for getting anymore. Fine. But then why not let us use our [b]BAZILLIONS[/b] of Legendary Shards to get what we missed? What could they be possibly waiting for for actually use shards on? Iron banner? Some [i]other[/i] event? [i]Sheeeeit[/i], people have thousands already. You'll have to make things cost 500+ haha. Give me 5minutes with them and I'll ask Bungie directly. Puh-leese...

2 RisposteI think people are overreacting to this a little bit. This is an event. It's like Iron Banner. It comes around for one week every once in a while (hopefully once a month) and you get capped for rewards. Plus, this system is way more rewarding than Iron Banner ever was. At least with the faction rallies, you aren't locked into one activity for the whole week.

I made a post about this saying that bungie should address the fact that NM and DO are being left out, granted it is a weird glitch but still unfair all the same.

2 RisposteWow, Bungie appears to have deleted two different comments I made on this topic. Yeah, go freedom of speech. Anyway I have now maxed all 3 characters with 30 rep packages each and not one of my characters got a complete set of armour. Also I have not seen any players in the game (so far) with a complete set of faction armour so I'm starting to think this deliberate to maintain on going playability.

Yep. Just hit 30 with New Monarchy. Just wanted the cloak. But nooo. 15 helmets instead. Bungie has made this game even more restrictive and player unfriendly than the first. They just hid it behind a ton of worthless power levels early.

5 RisposteI've gotten every armor piece except for the helmet and now I probably won't even be able to get it because of this limit, maybe if I wasn't getting the same weapons over and over. Also, when does the faction rally end and when will the next one be? Will we be able to pick up soon after it ends or have to wait god knows how long? I'm gonna be pissed if I don't get the sovereign helm all because of some shitty decisions made by Bungie.

2 RisposteThis should guarantee all weapons and all armour. It doesn't. Today on DO 3 shotty, 2HC. FWC 3 chest, 3 HC. NM 2 scout, 2 auto. Smart loot at its worst, and feels like it's persuading me to stop, instead of grind more.

2 RisposteYou can have a cap to limit the number of tokens I turn in, that’s fine. My issue is why do you include non faction items in the rewards? Even worse, why have a random element at all? Limit the amount of tokens I can turn in but allow me to purchase the items I want. The limit will still keep me coming back to play in the event next time. Being disappointed by a reward is the worst feeling in any game. Grind for a few hours and then get only items that are available in other activities or getting 6 helmets and nothinging else is intensely frustrating. Let me grind away for tokens and use them to purchase what I want. Make the costs of the items astronomical if you want. Working towards a goal (a complete set of faction armor) and getting 1 or 2 pieces if you’re lucky feels like cruel and unusual punishment.

I can’t believe this is a thing. If I want to play for 24 hours straight, farming tokens, let me. Armor sets and guns are rng based yet I can’t farm to my hearts content? This tells me: 1) Bungie knows there is not a whole lot to do in the vanilla, so they find ways to slow you down. 2) When the Faction event returns, it will be the SAME weapons, SAME armor and SAME shaders. There will be no variation. So to keep players returning to the event, they limit it so it extends.

1 RispondiI'm sure I'll get burned at the stake for this, but I don't see the problem. If it's cut off and people don't get a full set then there's something to do in the future. If it wasn't people would grind for all the gear (not a problem) and then when the next event came around they'd be mad there wasn't brand new gear. People miss the grind, but want stuff now. I don't get it.
