Does that mean it's the exact same creator from D1 with nothing new added? I just wanted to change my Titan's hairstyle.

Hello pilot of the white devil

Same engine, same character set up. Same cheap ass company giving minimal effort for maximum profit.

1 RispondiBunghole is known for doing stupid things. For once they just accidentally admitted on their facebook page that the framerate limit on consoles is artificial after all even after trying to convince everyone it was a hardware limitation. Oops.

6 RisposteWhy are people ragging on this guy saying it makes no sense to be able to change imports because it makes no sense to change races etc. The guy said he wants to change hairstyle. That makes total sense. People change hairstyles all the time. Given that there will likely be more options in D2, it makes sense to let imported characters change hairstyles and facial hair (if it exists). I, for one, put some green make-up around the eyes of my main character that I want to remove. I thought it looked kind of cool when I made him, but over the years I started to think it looked ridiculous and hated it. Unless you guys are suggesting that it is insane to think someone might wash their face one time in 3 years.
-
That's the whole point of being able to import our old classes........keeping them, the same, unchanged, like they've been for the last three years. If you want a change make new ones, it's just a face and wig......
-
Yeah, this kinda bums me out. I would love to tweak my characters for the new game. I appreciate BUNGIE letting us carry over our character, but I think it would be nice if there was an option to update them.
-
2 RisposteWorrying about the looks of a virtual character that you yourself designed is even more stupid.
-
5 RisposteWhy care, wearing your helmet in social spaces is a thing that everyone should use. Bungies character creation is just awful, worst in any game!
-
So make a new one. Nothing else carries over anyways.
-
It literally only copies the exact look/cosmetic appearance of your character. As much as I love the look of my current characters, I am going to create all new characters. Because they might have expanded the options, they might look more detailed and a lot better. If anything else, I will just select the same options and maybe change a thing or two. There isn't a point of importing your character if you want to change its appearance.
-
importing only copies your old onto the new, let that sink in for a bit. copies the old onto the new........... what is a copy you may ask, well it is an EXACT replica of your old guardian. not a newer model with different features, that's what create a character is for.
-
3 Rispostewhat's the point of importing a character if you want to change it's appearance if you want to change how your titan looks then create a new one
-
7 RisposteThen what exactly is the point of importing a character in the first place... you import a character to keep the character, and howd exactly would you explain your awoken female turning into a human male...
-
Make a new one.
-
I just want to grow a stubbly beard for my Warlock. I'm not asking for much
-
I'm not gonna import, I'll just start brand new. Why not?
-
I'm not sure what the issue is... All of your rewards and things are account based. All of our data was already saved for D2. When D2 drops, just make a new character.
-
1 RispondiThen don't import. Legacy rewards are based on account, not character.
-
Just make a new Titan...
-
I here ya there. My mains been needing a new hairstyle for three years. Would have liked beards to add to my warlock, but sadly that won't be coming to pass
-
Ultimately they're doing it because they don't want you to use your imported characters, they want you to build new ones.
-
If you want to change something start a new character. All that is transferring is our characters appearance, hence not being able to alter the "already created character".
-
If the imports are not important, then the lack of editing said import is also not important.
