Destiny 1 pre orders were 907,879 on ps4
Destiny 2's is currently at 127,879
Marvel vs capcom has more pre orders, so did Crash bandicoot. (On ps4)
Huge flop inbound.

48 RisposteVioer, I know you're a troll but this is actually a post that needs to be addressed. Yes, preorder numbers are lower, but it's no indication of a flop, just like high preorder numbers are no indication it will be a good game. Destiny 1 had insane preorder numbers, yet we all know how that turned out. As much as people like to romanticize the vanilla version of the game, it was a mess in PvE. Destiny as a franchise lost the trust of many gamers, though the game did redeem itself over time in my eyes. It's fine, great even, that people are skeptical of the next game. But low preorder numbers don't doom a game to be a failure. If the game is good enough, purchases will come later. Will Destiny 2 hit that mark? It remains to be seen.

19 RisposteThat sounds about right. The 800,000 (give or take) were too busy on the forums posting D2 is trash comments and they just forgot. Fortunately, they'll all be back playing D2 when it releases so they can continue bashing a game they will play for thousands of hours.
