Destiny 1 pre orders were 907,879 on ps4
Destiny 2's is currently at 127,879
Marvel vs capcom has more pre orders, so did Crash bandicoot. (On ps4)
Huge flop inbound.

4 RisposteAlso, I highly advise if you are on the fence about buying D2 is to wait until used copies start coming into GameStop and buy a used copy. Can get a full refund within 7 days, no questions asked. I highly advise buying a used copy, seeing if you Like it, if not, return it for a full refund. Don't buy a new copy then be stuck with a game You hate

3 RisposteTo be honest , the lack of sales volume can probably be contributed not only to the weak points of the Destiny 2 beta but to a variety of mishaps that took place in Destiny 1 that the fan base felt were a slap in the face . This may be a direct result of consumers finally pushing back against Bungie and saying "we've learned our lesson". Or it could simply be that everyone is waiting until the last minute to purchase it . I don't think the latter is true.

6 RisposteDestiny 1 was one of the most anticipated games in history, and was considered wildly underwhelming shortly after release. Destiny 2 is the sequel to that game, and the caution following the release of D1 has undoubtedly lasted.

7 RisposteAhahahahaha you all are so misinformed bungie, Activision/blizzard, Sony and Xbox are private companies and do not release pre order numbers. To any of those who will post a link to vgchartz you should know that they only show a small percentage of physical pre orders.

1 RispondiThey screwed up by making the game streamer friendly, pay for carry trials as the priority. Ultra sweaty, so all the casuals left the game. They are trying to correct it now, but many won't be back because of pay for carry trials system.
