I wish I never played the BETA for D2
...because it ruined D1 for me. Now when I log into D1 I go to the tower and just stand there. I have zero motivation to play D1 at all now.
The BETA is to blame for this. I know that this seems to be a unpopular opinion around here, but I really enjoyed what I was able to play in the BETA. I am seriously looking forward to D2 now. So much so, that it completely annihilated my desire to do anything at all in D1.
Am I the only one, I wonder?

After playing the Beta, I went right back to D1, strait to Mars, and started a round table with the Cabal with the hopes of finding out why their entire race would have plastic surgery to make themselves all look like hamsters. They were dumbfounded and worried about my news of the future.

Nope me and my girl friend feel the same way after playing the beta we decided to hop back onto destiny one not even an hour later we were just done with the broken mess it's become. So here's to hoping bungie learned from their mistakes with destiny and don't do it to destiny 2.

I say burn everything destiny related start over. Or actually not look like 343i who people are still iffy about. People forget the dream team is gone. The sweet smell of snake oil should wake you up..well never mind. [spoiler]Go away i am sleeping till destiny is over and Bungle does something that matters. [/spoiler]

Not really because of the beta but yeah, D1 is boring now. All content t is exhausted, nothing is worth doing anymore. I don't even really have the drive to try and get the Mythoclast Ornament anymore.

That doesn't really make sense, because based on the beta D1 is far superior. It's just opposite for me. I do, however, hope Bungle is working on some positive changes to D2 before it drops.

Nope for me it's the same. The fun is gone in D1 for actually all my friends and clan mates so 5.5 weeks of playing other games isn't so bad

Probably not. I think there is a definite split between those who love/hate both D1 and D2. Personally I found the movement slow and ttk painfully slow in D2.....but hate the current shitebreaker/stickie meta in D1 despite loving everything else. I have preordered and most definitely will play D2, however think crucible will be ruined for solo players due to stacked four man 'professional' teams. Still, it's £80 and if I get even 12 months of fun I'll consider it worthwhile. I have have a bad feeling that I'll be 'holding my nose' while I'm playing D2 though. 😥

The beta didn't do it Destiny literally made me quit playing destiny. It just got tiresome and repetitive. Nightfall, done, raid, did it already so I don't care anymore, the book is done, sparrow racing, crucible is shitty 24/7, strikes are really only fun with friends, once they quit playing it gave me no interest myself. Pretty much I was just waiting for the beta, and now Destiny 2

Gave up on D1 right after AoT, didn't play the beta but still pre-ordered D2, pretty certain il enjoy it.

I know, that beta was god awful except for the graphics, I like the new fur collared Fallen Captains and the servitors looked cool.

I don't have motivation because there really isn't anything new in D1. I'm just hyped for the new story and the beta made me even more hyped.

1 RispondiI havent played D1 in a while. Ive been concentrating on shadow of mordor. Cant believe i didn't try that game sooner. Shame on me! At first i didnt like the D2 beta but it grew on me and i decided to tune down my pessimism on these forums. I do wish certain things werent nerfed but what can i do about it? And i hope to see invis come back somehow...

I’m not a PC destiny player. In all senses of the phrase. I’ll laugh if the PC build is more “current” than we got on the consoles.

The beta was abit hit and miss for me however i think when players get some more weapons theyre comfortable with they will start enjoying the game. The only thing i didnt like was that the strike was a touch too long (a mild complaint) and that i cant have a sniper as a secondary (this is for pve - im not much of a sniper in pvp). Part from that i cant wait

Really?? come on D1 has had nothing to do for the longest... it's why they came out with those stupid records books, trying to keep up interest until the beta... there was no reason unless you are new to Destiny that you can blame the D2 Beta for your disentrance. Bungie bungled that, and admitted slow content hurt this game, and would be addressed in D2. some ppl will look at your post as just HYPE!! we all can say "i wish i never played (put game name here) ...because it ruined D1 for me. not alone at all....I enjoyed what they gave us, and look forward to D2. Nothing felt as solid going back to D1. I also enjoy the fact that there is a lot of new to learn and experience, places to explore, secrets to unlock; and I'm eager for all of it. I hope the tons of people posting here don't cause undue change in a game that they know so little about, and those of us who enjoy are able to bring out an epic sequel.
