Going back to D1 PVP is painful!!
Stickies, ice breaker and sidearms.
D2 PVP was a way better experience.
Joined one game in progress on D1 PVP and got super killed 5 times in a row, 5 storm callers spamming abilities.
8 games of clash gave me 19 (yes 19 ) primary kills and we won most of them.
Roll on D2.
Edit: Game mode Clash not mayhem clash.

6 RisposteDisagree. D1 mayhem clash with killing people in their supers with a suros was a blast. Then supering up and showing them why it's also vital to choose when to super not just pop it cos you got it lol. Makes a mockery of the D2 PvP to be honest. Yes D2 PvP is more forced primary play but it's certainly NOT as fun as a quick D1 match of simple clash. THAT is a real issue!

I binged the D2 beta a bit and probably won't play any D1 for a few days. Gonna try and play some HZD. But I enjoy them both.

First time I used GG since beta, I involuntarily Leroy Jenkins with it to make sure I got my shots off in time.

3 RisposteYeah the beta is great in comparison people actually using primaries and teamwork and planning out super use not just spamming nades and supers also not everyone has a one shot kill gun all the time which is amazing

I'm not having the greatest time either. All these handcannons, lightning grenades, and panic supers. Every time I spawn an enemy player is practically a few feet away already rushing my position.

So in trying to explain PVP in Destiny I found it hard to say that there is a single word to describe Destiny PVP. With games like Battlefield, Call of Duty, Titanfall, OverWatch, Counter-Strike, whatever those games have a definitive vision for what PvP is. You can even throw in Halo. Destiny PVP is one of those weird games where it doesn't have a clearly defined shooter genre, for lack of a better word. Don't get me wrong though, I've always loved Destiny PVP. I have a ton of fun with it. But I think by not having a clearly defined multiplayer genre included into the PVP experience it kind of makes the whole experience feel lackluster because there's no Direction. And that's specifically talking about the destiny 1 pvp. Going into Destiny 2 it's more of a team-based PVP experience. That is something I can gear up for and spec into

4 RisposteI like the more balanced feel of D2 PvP, but the long cooldown of weak grenades makes them feel like they might as well not even be there. Also, it would be nice of kills gave a bit more super energy, so that everyone isn't rushing to use their super right at the end of the match. Those are my main issues with the new PvP. Otherwise, I'm all for it.

They should make a more for all the sticks in the mud. Y'all could go play with yourselves and leave the fun for the rest of us instead of dumbing everything down so it's noob and scab friendly.

Once I was stickied about 5-10 times in a row. It was a rumble match in progress and by the time I was done being stickied, the match was over. 😕

1 RispondiI enjoy D1 pvp more aslong as no one is using sticky grenades or sidearms ( don't care if you use Icebreaker) the primarys in D1 feel some much better then D2.

D2 pvp is better, but I'm wondering how they'll mess it up after the first few patches and balance updates.
