I fully agree. I played some D1 crucible and had the same experience. If you figure each person can get 2 supers thats 12 per team and 24 total in one match! And that is not counting all the shotgun / Ice breaker / Fusion rifle and sticky grenade deaths I had. D2 crucible is going to be a breath of fresh air. For those wishing the beta was more like the D1 crucible you're insane.

I 100% agree! The skill gap in destiny 1 is close because abilities spamming allow you to make up for mistakes. In D2 you get punished hard for missing shots and mis-throwing grenades. It takes more strategy and skill than the first. D2 pvp is different for sure but different is not always bad!

Well considering half the destiny playerbase is made up of shit halo players(the other half are on ps and don't have a clue what a good shooter is) of course they're all upset the skill gap destroying 1sk super powers are gone. Now they have to try and aim a weapon again and their PTSD from being a staff captain is kicking in.

Wow, a lot of people in the comments are back on the D1 PVP bandwagon after it was the most hated thing before the beta. Shows how many people are willing to spew bs just to hate on D2. D2's PVP is a huge improvement!

Yep. D1 pvp is awful. Run into supers 10 times a game and there's nothing you can do about it. Kids hardscoping all game long. Nade spam Ugh

People don't like your post are the pop try hard use to easy super kills or stick and run and sitting in the back with an icebreaker not worrying about special ammo or relying on their god roll pally or easyluna. Now people actually have to be smart about their engagements in d2. Their brains can't handle the work load.

I've been playing d1 a bit after the beta ended......little to no -blam!-ing primary fights. It's all one shot special ability spam. I miss the beta already.

So much of this. D1 crucible is a joke. People whine about TTK when its really no different than in D1 when you have good shot placement. But people whine b/c they cant sticky kill or sit back and snipe from the back of the map with the Ice Breaker yet everyone else is the casuals? How much skill does it really take to super kill, sticky kill, exc exc...Sounds to me like the biggest whiners are the real casuals. I'm an Avg player at best I never claimed that PVP was my strong suit in the game b/c its not but I often finish in the top 1-2 on my team when in D1 because I am able to get so many kills based off supers and ability's. The D1 meta is gimmicky and chaotic at best. Yes it is much faster paced but D2 will make you play smarter and they do this by slowing everything down and its not a bad thing at all. I know I will definitely not miss being team shot ALL THE TIME in D1 its unbelievable how only adding 2 more people on a team effects this as compared to the beta where I was team shot but not nearly as often. I will not miss the IB sniping warriors, I will not miss the shotgun sliders, I will not miss the sticky deaths, I will not miss the D1 crucible. Cannot wait for D2 and all the newness and freshness it brings us. PS: For all the whiners you are the same ones who would complain that bungie did not change anything in the game if they had not made such a big change to the crucible. You will whine if they do you will whine if they dont..whine whine whine whine whine.
