I would play because of the graphics. Also because of how many stories are there and the strikes are interesting, in my opinion. [spoiler]There will be new flashpoints as announced. Bungie also announced that there will be lost sectors, better map system, milestones, new Player versus Player mode, and more.[/spoiler]

Nope, I stopped playing D1 a while ago and I have no intentions of playing D2. I tried the beta, briefly, and it just made me realize that Bungie could have added a "world of warcraft amount" of content to D2 and i still wouldnt have liked it. I find the universe to be incredibly boring (in the hands of Bungie atleast, it has the lore to potentially be a good franchise in the hands of someone els) , PvP will forever be broken and I'm over it.

No but there is hope. I'll wait for reviews and state of game and 4-6+ months in to make a final decision.

Not likely if its anything like the amount of content we got in the first one. Ill wait a week and check out streams and reviews and make a decision then. Id just rather not waste upwards of $200 total on short repetitive missions

If it has a successful launch (Lol), decent reviews and meta score, and it successfully improves on the game in the right ways following the post-launch issues, then I'll give it a go. I played since day 1 of Vanilla, and I won't put myself in a position to be potentially fooled twice.

I am not claiming I will never play it, but a pre-order is NOT happening. Day one is also likely not happening. Sorry, but I just don't trust Bungie. I had my fun with D1, but just gave up (like Bungie did) after RoI. Unless D2 shows something amazing, perhaps the time is now to extricate myself from the Bungie universe. Guess September will tell the tale.

almost certainly not. old build abd all i get but the things i really hated about the game are very unlikely to change in a month and a half, its likely already sitting in boxes ready to be shipped. I'll stick around on here and see what changes they make and maybe I'll pick up a demo of the release version if one is offered but given Bungie track record I highly doubt they will make the changes I'd like to see. whateves, it was fun, there's plenty of other games that will grab my attention

As of now, no. I know it was an old build, but the things I didn't like are things that can't be fixed before launch and, in all probability, won't be changed. The damage modifiers, cooldown timers, even movement speed can be tweaked, but what I disliked will still be there and that just means that, for me, the enjoyment isn't there. Since the D1 beta I've mained a hunter, and while I actually enjoyed arcstrider in general, the lame class ability compared to titan and warlock and the nerf to gunslinger left me feeling bummed out. But, even more than that,I just did not like the double primary system. You can use lore to explain a lot of design choices, but somehow my guardian forgot how to carry a sniper rifle, scout rifle, and rocket launcher at the same time? From a pvp balance point of view I get it, I really do, but as someone who only goes into crucible for the occasional exotic quest, and then only grudgingly, this design choice impacts the way I play in a manner that is negative to me. I wish they could implement that loadout system for pvp and a classic system for pve, but they refuse to balance the two sides of the game separately. And, again, from a lore perspective the change doesn't make sense. If I'm importing my guardian why are they suddenly unable to carry the same weapon types they did for three years? To those sticking with Destiny, enjoy. I'll still be around the forums to keep up with changes, and if the day comes that they fix hunters and rework the weapon loadout system I may pick up a copy. In the meantime I have a serious backlog of games I will finally get to.

I might pick it up from the bargain bin after the base game+DLC price has been chopped in half. The only game I'm even considering paying full price for right now is Anthem. It looks so good.
