Fix these 2 things in pve, and you may have a winner. The two primary system for pve worries me though if heavy remains scarce.
EDIT: Someone pointed out nerfing enemies' health somewhat in pve. Is that the answer?
EDIT: Nobody likes the idea of enemy health reduction lol. Sorry to whoever suggested it.
EDIT: This is the community consensus from people that mostly enjoy the beta
EDIT: My personal opinion, the super charge is fine, more ammo in general needs to drop, control needs to be 100 points so it's not all supers at the end, and abilty charges need a faster cooldown.

The power ammo in PvE has already been addressed in TWAB.

You're right, there is a huge lack of Heavy Ammo in the game and it us bullsh*t! All we have are Primary Ammo, and this weird Power Ammo sh*t(What ever that is) Bungie really needs fix their game and add more Heavy Ammo to the game before I cancel my preorder and then buy the game right before release!!

According to what I have studied, most people that live all over the world need your character's ability in which the specimen makes a random thing pop out of nothing and will have a Elemental composition of Void, Fire, and Lightning, needs to be ready to make use of faster, so that their specimen will be able to make something pop out of nothing with an elemental composition of Void, Fire, and Lightning.

2 RisposteI think it's power ammo now...

The heavy ammo changes are already dealt with

3 RispostePrimary everything! This sucks! Please don't go this way destiny, image trying to solo anything! A strike boss would take 20 minutes plus lmao

Modificato da OdinsKnight101: 7/21/2017 5:36:15 PMPve is weak sauce. Can't spam abilities, arc super feels stingy in that, it locks where you're moving for a short time. Killing 3 dogs with sholder charge was cool, but learning you had to wait for melee to charge to use again, was uncool and slowed me the hell down. Little barrier is cool, but only plays to sit me still and shoot stuff. THIS GAME WANTS ME TO BE SLOW! No in the first game killing was fast and I liked to stay back and kill everything before moving forward, in destiny 2, they want you to stay still and be behind cover, because oh look, the psion's have snipers and they're miles away. Above of you. Just my thoughts anyway.

12 RisposteBoring. It's really apparent the Destiny 2 vision was to fix Destiny 1 problems. That's it. Pure and simple. That is the driving force behind Destiny 2. And, because of that Destiny 2 has no innovation. There's no wow factor because all they sought out to do was fix Destiny 1. They should have fixed Destiny 1 in Destiny 1. It's inconceivable how bad they got this wrong.

4 RisposteI was so hype for this game until I played the beta. Don't get me wrong. The weapons feel much more balanced. On the same token, I feel Bungie has focused far too much on gun play. I don't know if it's because they are partnered with Activision or what. The way this game feels makes me have memories of Call of Duty. It's as if supers don't matter in PvP anymore. The game modes seem too short to really get a feel for the super. It takes forever to actually build your super. 27 kills and 4 captures, and my super is finally available. That's what made Destiny so different. These "Guardians" are supposed to feel powerful. Not feel like just above average soldiers. This is strictly on the feel of the Beta. Maybe we will see a difference in the full game. As of right now, all abilities feel so weak. The six shooter tree on the gunslinger is meant for a group. Not really the best for PvP in my opinion. Especially, 4v4. It seems like the Hunter is still nerfed. These guys are supposed to be the most skilled assassins. They feel weak and lacklustre. It seems like you doubled nerfed the entire game. Time to kill, abilities, charge of abilities, supers, just basically the entire experience that made a "Guardian" what they WERE. To be honest, I'll stick to the original unless it's more appealing in the full game. I really love Destiny. I use to love CoD. Destiny changed my entire perspective on FPS. But I see this game going in the same direction if this is it. I just wanted a total new experience. Not to feel like it's all been recycled. Just my opinion.

My thoughts!!! Supers (and other abilities) I definitely think they should charge faster especially considering arcstrider can get into a loop of infinite melees and dodges, Ammo: power ammo is absolutely necessary, my primaries did so little damage I felt forced to use the one auto rifle with an extended annoying reserve just so I didn't run out, the game needs to be way more generous with ammo, it make a strike a good 10-15 minutes longer because I have both run out of anmo, or simple can't do enough immediate damage to something that needs to be dead.
-
3 RisposteNo offense, but I feel it's not too bad. It adds an increased difficulty factor so the players can't just "speed run" an encounter.
-
4 RisposteValid arguments. But, the real problem was evident when the chic in the reveal showed it was more about being a place of tranquility and friendliness when we all know it's just a GD video game. Stop diversifying the equation! The gun mechanics have taken a step backwards. That is what made d1 awesome. The gun mechanics of this beta are really bad. Play your next strike or PvP match and think "why does this feel so different?" GUNS SUCK.

More ammo drops in general would be a welcome change since I was running low during the boss fight in the strike. But the power ammo (a.k.a. heavy) was pretty useless anyway. The grenade launcher is garbage, and the sniper rifle is okay IF you can get a clean headshot, which is tough the way the enemies jump around constantly. I did far better with my secondary weapon.
-
1 RispondiMy one complaint so far (aside from super recharge in PvE) is how it take almost a second for your radar to reappear after exiting ADS. Super annoying.
-
How can you not add that the game feels slow to your post? Like movement feeling clunky. That is all over the forums.
-
4 RisposteLack of random rolls on weapons is a terrible idea. Scout rifles are worthless trash now. How is new hunter subclass any different from Arc? Super is nearly identical. Supers are too short AND too slow to charge. Lack of HDR and 60 fps is just pathetic. 4v4 is fun but party play is going to be rampant and most games will end in Lord Shaxx saying blam this. Game still looks great even though it's an expansion. PVE is going to be awesome as always.
-
Also the new weapon system is boring in PVE!
-
Am I the only one here okay with the amount of grenades used in destiny 1 pvp? I always thought they added a strong tactical sense to firefights, as many had unique abilities and situations where they could be used. I'd be perfectly fine with 25 second cooldowns (even if the low damage remained) on grenades.
-
13 RisposteOk so this complaint trend is hilarious......Dunno if anyone has been paying attention but there is a device sucking the light from the traveler, the opening scene has everyone loosing their abilities.....so why should abilities have a high charge rate....the better question: in a world without light why do we even have supers ?
-
Weekly update said this is an old build and heavy drop rate was already increased in PVE.
-
Dont forget gernades
-
-
1 Rispondi1. Increase charge rate for supers in both PVE/PVP. Small increase, mind you. 2. Increase charge rate for abilities in PVE only. 3. PERFECTION
-
Ammo is already fixed for launch. Small increase in super energy would be nice on a kill. Nothing crazy now Bungie but just a tad.

1 RispondiModificato da SMOKEY D 7: 7/20/2017 10:40:42 PMFix movement, jumping, guns, game is fun, and looking forward to it, but some of the crap they have done is a big step backwards.ammo drops are horrible, buy the last phase of boss fight I had no ammo for any weapon, just ran around at the end until other two team mates beet him
-
Fix movement and gun mechanics as well.
