How do you feel about the 4v4 Pvp?
I seriously don't know now. I'm a little less hyped for the release of D2. A lot of you brought up some very good points in other post about your clans and your raid teams.
I'm paraphrasing:

If you find the guy that said that, bump his comment because that is one of the main things us team players and helpful players hate most about this change. We hate too kick people feeling like a @ick after spending hrs having fun with the Full Team. I'll take fun 6v6 (clash, mayhem, ect) over competitive play any day of the week. Idk if you've heard bungie....BUT MOST PLAYERS HATE ToO!!!

I find soooo many good post on b.net you'd think some of these players were devs. I also see a lot of complaints but its not because we hate the game. Its because we love it, and hate what its becoming in some areas.
I just really don't understand bungies thought process. I cant speak for anyone else, but they only partially listen to some players. Am I alone on this?
Edit: Thanks for the comments and votes. A lot of people are on the fence about the change and its understandable. Took me by surprise. Nothing left to do but wait for the beta....[i]sigh[/i] I guess. I'm not at all excited as I once was...like wow.

I'm excited for it because I always thought because of most map sizes in original Destiny that 6v6 was a little too hectic while 3v3 was a little too slow. I would've liked to see them keep both but just add 4v4 too the playlist options but all in all I'm okay with it.

It would be better if it was an extra option, on top of the regular 6v6. But they are shoving it down our troats, just like the rotating game modes in D1... Whose idea was it to rotate game modes in an out?

I don't mind the 4v4 if we also get 8v8 modes.

Being a solo player in general, if I see a fireteam bigger than 3 , I bail. 4 and up is generally too organized, especially with seasoned players...i spend too much time as an orb waiting to respawn.... will be interesting to see how I can manage that if going to orbit is no longer an option.

dont like it, what about game mode like control are they going to do 4v4 for that or take it out completely!? why go backwards why not have big game on large maps with a larger variety of vehicles even something that flys like 12 v 12

Would have been nice to see clan or faction battles, would it be possible to have p2p for the small stuff, but bungie hosted large scale monthly battles? [spoiler]haha, my math is s***[/spoiler]

All I hear from my content creators is "I'm going to pc l, it's so amazing" you have to know that pissed me the -blam!- off to see console get left behind after we (not pc gamers) have carried this devs product for 3 years. No dedicated servers? REALLY!!!!!!!!! If you want to play the best looking d2 possible then your gonna HAVE to buy a pc. For those of you looking to get into the competitive scene, if you play on console guess what? You guessed it. You're gonna have to buy a pc. Really glad I didn't pre order bc at this point I'm not sure that I'm gonna buy this game. And for those if you who don't like 4v4. BE GLAD bc no 60fps and dedicated servers..4v4 will actually make pvp smoother to play.

Watched quite a few videos covering the new D2 pvp gameplay, gotta say, the more I watch the more I dislike everything about it.

Kinda bummed out about it only being 4v4. Was hoping to keep 6v6 and maybe getting bigger team modes as well. So pvp is a bummer but pve looks awesome and as I'm more of a pve player I'm still hyped.

I kinda get why bungie wanted to go in this direction. I know alot of people that think 6v6s are just too chaotic and prefer the 3v3 game modes. More so now because of all the new and powerful abilities guardians have. My only problem is that they are forcing these 4v4s onto the players. Though pvp is more controlled this way they should at least have a 2 or 3 game modes that are 6v6 Like rift, and maybe two new ones. Would also say that bungie saw 4v4s as a "two birds one stone" kind of situation. Players always wanted bigger maps that didn't favor shot guns in Destiny. By reducing the number of players, the number of encounters with enemies is lower thus the map feels bigger. Also I'm not sure how connection works entirely but I'm guessing it's easier to host a game of 8 players fitting a certain criteria for connection and skill than it is to do this for 12.

4 RisposteChanging the 3v3 to 4v4 is fine by me, but i like big team games also, so it will be upsetting if it is always only 4v4. In regards to kicking players after a raid, you can just go set up your own 3v3 in a private mat....damn, nevermind

4 RispostePretty pissed about it tbh. They decided to fix something that wasn't broken in the first place and now we get to choose which two people we wanna kick out of our groups? Yeah that's real cool. This was a MAJOR step back for PvP in Destiny. Incredibly disappointed.

8 Risposte4v4 isn't going to change the fact that P2P is reliant on everyone's internet connection. There is still going to be lag and red bars. Watch the YouTube videos the matches are shit, there is no chance for matches to evolve and take shape and no chance to adapt. The matches are over as soon as they start because there is no respawn. Its stupid. And 3v1 or 2v1 or 4v1 or 4v2 is not competitive. At all. That's what most matches will be within 20 seconds of the start of a match. Lopsided. There NEEDS to be regular respawning like every other FPS including Destiny 1. People complain that they can't keep their K/D up in 6v6 but it isn't that difficult. Be aware of what is around you and don't run around like a headless chicken. 4v4 with no respawn is going to be a boring disaster. They need 6v6 playlists. And they need regular PvP.

1 RispondiI'm wondering if they are cutting to totally, or having 6x6 Iron Banner or some other sort of monthly event that allows more players... I think they should offer both, 4x4 & 6x6. I will just have to play it & see. They do have me curious on the new raid though... I really wonder if they are going down to 4.

Was hoping for large scale battles, like 10v10 but I'll have to wait and see what 4v4 will be like.
