A message to Conservatives and Liberals
Conservatives: Banning drugs doesn't work. By keeping them illegal you're accomplishing nothing but artificially inflating their value, funneling more money to actually dangerous cartels instead of giving the state more to work with via tax and spending. Also, there's legitamite medical benefits to some drug use.
Liberals: Banning guns doesn't work. People who want them will get them. If you ban guns, you're doing nothing but artificially inflating their value, funneling more money to cartels and black market dealers instead of giving it to the state via tax and spending. Also, there's legitamite reason for gun ownership (self defense, hunting, sport shooting).
Are we all clear now? Good.
Banning shit you don't like doesn't work, stop acting like children.

The only things I am personally against as far as owning a personal weapon goes is owning something like a grenade launcher or wanting to have guns in schools. No and no. I'll never understand why people need anything more than a simple hunting rifle, handgun, or shotgun. Really, you need a P90 or an AK-47 to protect yourself or go hunting? Why? But, that's my persnal opinion and I really can't enforce that. And, I'll never understand why Reps. want guns in schools. You want dangerous weapons in the hands of untrained teachers in buildings with emotionally unstable students? What could go wrong?

6 RisposteCannabis should never have been designated schedule 1. Two crucial requirements for a substance to qualify for schedule 1 designation- 1. Substance must be deadly. Toxic levels of said substance are researched and documented. 2. Substance can not have medical use. Toxic levels of cannabis do not exist. You can kill someone with an overdose of vitamin C but not with the ganja. They tried. Cannabis is the absolute best at treating nausea while stimulating the appetite. A godsend to cancer patients. Almost all public places and apartments in Venezuela are gun free zones. People obeying the law in these zones are sitting ducks. The majority of gun related violence and deaths occur in Venezuelan gun free zones. Hmmm... you may have a point here, two of them actually.
