Hope there's map voting in Destiny 2
I mean in PvE and PvP.
Maybe have it where you pick a map and you are matched with players who also chose that map, and post game you vote to stay or leave. If you stay you vote as a group on the next map (most votes wins). That's kind of a genius idea. Right?
Oh and Stop "breaking the teams up" please. Maybe I want a rematch to redeem myself with the same team or it was a really good match and team.
TL;DR: Map voting everywhere/ Let us see the map before the MM, and let us choose to leave the team/ stop breaking the teams up just because we won!!

Edit: If you guys don't like the maps people are voting for you could choose to leave post game no problem. I'd stay if the team I was with is good enough (I work a lot and don't have time for lfg). Or or or maybe the same map cant be voted for more than once. Lets look for addition too and idea and not just problems. Look at the meta right now, perfect example.
I personally like destinies pvp (meta excluded), but I hate not seeing the map before hand, and not being able to see the next map.

Hopefully they can have a search engine to find so and so map. Aka find a game where I can play Widows Court instead of the horrible map named Drifter.

4 RisposteAgree, not even knowing what map you have until a few seconds before the match is stupid. Matchmaking needs to be fixed too. Joining in on the losing team right before enemy uses super with the occasional "heavy ammo inbound" before I spawn in, that sums up pvp for me.

2 RisposteI hate being dropped into a losing match, then you decide to be a good player and just play it only to have the lobby be broken up. After that a lot of times it'll just put you into another shitty losing match.

the reason they break up the teams is because there was a massive gap in points thus meaning a massive gap in skill level, so the break up the teams and match you with people more close to your skill level.

5 RisposteHow would it work though? Would it function slightly similar to private matches where you choose a map and the game attempts to matchmake for other players that selected it? There are not really any 'lobbies' in Destiny (speaking off the current design), unlike other titles that have map-voting. Crucible map-voting would be nice, but I fear that it would just lead to certain maps being segregated and ignored. What happens when some maps are disliked by the majority of the community and never get voted on?

People will see more people are on a certain map so they jump to that one, and it becomes a chain reaction. Breaking up teams I will agree does suck. Edit- Also, whatever maps fit the meta will be consistently picked much more than any other map.

It's not the map voting I have a problem it's your let's not have braking teams up. Personally I think it's a good idea to break teams up makes it different every time if you don't want to be broken up join a fireteam. Otherwise you will be broken up by the mm next round. Going against fireteam is a thorn cause they usely have one lagging player and the game allows him to stay in just cause he's in a fireteam.

It should be implemented but there should be a limit on the amount of times you play a single map in a row. That way there is more variety. People would just choose the "best" map in the game over and over again if there wasn't a limit.

1 RispondiMercy rules need to kick in when 3 or more people start leaving your team and every time there is no recovery of winning. Stop putting me in losing or already started matches PERIOD. When heavy arrives there should be like 2-5 seconds for people running for it to grab the brick before it disappears. I hate my teams, they -blam!-ing see me running for it and grab it knowing there are no enemies around. Kill cams/theater mode Get rid of the 5 second to spawn time You know what? Just let CoD balance pvp, they know what they are doing. I dont care about the TTK in CoD it better than destinys unbalanced...whatever you want to call the crucible.

3 RisposteModificato da UFSman: 5/13/2017 9:18:24 PMIt breaks teams up to make cuase that's how the mm works if you want to keep playing together contact your team mates and from a fire team. mm works differently unless your in a fire team and you and your opponents will be broken up after two matches or if you or them win by a certain amount of points you will be broken up. The only away to avoid this is to have two or more people leave before the end of the match. When you go straight into mm without being broken up but when you start the next match unless your in a fireteam with different team mates so to keep it fresh and not have you battleing the same opponents again and again. Fireteams are a thorn cause they allow people which cbmm would not allow to fight in a mismatch battle just cause they are in a fireteam I think in order to go further pvp should not allow fireteams in cbmm so that red bars happen less often.

You use your pick as you select your game mode type. You then become only matched with people who either also picked that map, or didn't use a pick. If you don't use a pick then you will randomly be assigned a map. Look I think we all get it, sometimes you get a new sniper and you want to play Shores of Time, or a new shotgun and you don't. Maybe you just have a favorite, or a lucky map. It's not unreasonable to think a unfavorable map can upset your mood. But it would be insane to cut out all the maps and their variability.

2 RisposteYes. Oh please. There would have been four maps that i would have always tried to avoid: Black Shield, Cathedral at Dusk, Skyline, and the other new mars map. Rift maps play AWFUL in other game modes. Destiny really needs to make up its mind about what type of PvP game it wants to be. As of right now, it has no proper identity. Just a bunch of pvp tropes thrown together and bad map design.
