Bungie needs to leave Activision
The reason we have a game that was chopped up and fed to us piece by piece is Because of Activision. Choosing profit over good gaming. Activison has to please investors, and if they don't they lose money. Here is the thing: Activision could have let Bungie work on Destiny a little longer and a delay would not be unreasonable. Corporate greed is a cancer in the industry. Investors don't care about the product. They care about making money. Its why we see CoD year on year. There's no need for it but they do it anyway. Because they make millions off it. I not against making money. Every business needs to make money. We don't need to pre-order games. This practice just fuels the fire. I wish pre-order bonuses didn't exist. This all relates to the business of profit. Are companies that uncertain of a product that they need to add happy meal toys to entice us? There's a lot i want say but i am tired. Have a good day/night

1 RispondiFYI The contract signed between bungie and Activision shows that there would be the DLCs that everyone is complaining about. People who say "it's all Activisions fault" haven't seen the contract between bungie and Activision. All Activision did was hold them to what they signed in the contract, well before destiny ever came out. The fact is, it's bungies fault that they screwed all this up, not Activisions

If it wasn't for Activision we would only be getting TTK this September. Big publishers are the reason we get games when we do.

While the publisher actually can set deadlines, major decisions are still made by the team. The producers themselfes decided to change the game (mainly the storyline and content) to what it is right now. More streamlined. People constantly screaming "leave Activision naaaow" have no idea how the industry works. Name one big publisher people NOT hate or trash talk about, who was willing for supporting such an expensive IP EA? Ubisoft? Yeah we know how the majority would react to them.... Self-publishing was obviously not something what Bungie wanted to risk with a brand new IP (and maybe some publishers they asked before). Microsoft gave a damn about it. They wanted Bungie to continue the Halo games. Not to mention the problems they had and how we never really knew what Destiny actually was till the BETA. There is much more going on behind the scenes. And therefore we have no right to judge them.

The contract Bungie signed is out there in the wild (another fact). There was no gun to their heads! They saw money and agreed to create a product that, by it's very definition in the contract, was supposed to be chopped into 1 game, then two small and one big dlc. Then another game, rinse and repeat for 10 years with Activision having first refusal to publish. Where the heck in that is there a point at which "Activision force Bungie to chop up the story into pieces"? This mess is all Bungie's doing and it's about time people faced that. D2 for instance is already (again by definition of the contract) a chopped up item! Heck wasn't there already a leak about some Rasputin and then Vex DLCs on the way! Better get that money ready for the season pass people! I mean just how much story do you think you're getting in D2 vanilla? I would speculate about as much as was in vanilla D1! That was basically 1 raid, 4-5 strikes, patrols and 5 - 10 main story missions. The only real change I'm expecting this time around is a few more side missions and an open world style planet layout. I may be pleasantly suprised but, somehow I doubt it! I mean if they have a ready supply of muppets ready to throw money at the screen why change a damned thing.

They are under contract breaking the contract before it expires/meets requirements will have severe damages to either parties (mostly Bungie).
