8 RisposteThe only gun I ever felt like needed a nerf was DoP. And for me it was only an issue of range. At one point, you could hose someone down with a DoP at scout rifle range. Once they fixed that I was good. Snipers do make me salty, but that's all jealousy since I am an absolute garbage sniper. I never felt like they needed a nerf really. Though I didn't cry when they got some flinch either.

33 RisposteYep. He makes a good argument. Nothing except the OG Vex was really OP, and yet we've nerfed everything to crap. We can't have nice things with so many sissies running around in PVP. There are a few solutions: 1. Crucibabies can grow a pair; 2. Eliminate PVP from the game; 3. Separate PVE from PVP completely and let PVP become bland and standardized combat; 4. Bungie can grow a pair and tell the PVP whiners to suck it up or play something else ("Try strikes?") The only one of these solutions I foresee being at least a remote possibility is #3. Lets hope Destiny 2 does the right thing and just separates the two.

5 RisposteI remember the joyous time I had when Bungie finally made Thorn, my very first Exotic and favorite gun, viable in PvE in Y1..... then murdered my Iron Rose because some immature children whined.

I agree with what he's saying in this video. However, he contradicts the shit out of himself by posting a video like this. Both him and datto avidly tried getting Firebolts nerfed back in year one. Hopefully he learned from that request.

Mtashd is SUCH a baby. Seriously so annoying. Anyway, most guns are not OP like he said. Vex was and a better example he should've used was god roll clever dragon. ONLY god roll dragons were op. The ones with lame perks were not. But bungie always goes damn overboard and instead of fixing high caliber round problem. They go ahead and nerf high cal rounds, magazine size and fire rate! AND they merged fire rate to that whole class! Who in their right mind though The Waltz was Op or even Grasp(sure it was good, but had trash rolls mostly). He's deff high if he didn't think Thorn and Last Word were OP. OP means over powered. Not "if there is one single counter to this gun it's fine". Thorn two tapped from range because of burn. Yes I used last word because I didn't have a thorn and it was a good counter. THE ONLY COUNTER (on Xbox). They were both OP because they were the two single best guns in the game and if you weren't using them you were at a big disadvantage. Bungie just needs to learn how to fix specific guns and not entire classes. This happens every nerf. The whole damn class of weapons gets merged instead of the singular weapon that was OP(Matador 64 anyone?) Ps. Did I mention Mtashd is annoying??

5 RisposteDestiny began as a game where you got better gear and played harder missions and got better gear. Now, I have not raided since Crota, reached max Light within 1 week of each increase, and shop at the Vendors and have gear equal to any Raid/Trials drop (thanks to balancing). I think this game has reached its 'Max Light and no update will improve it. Spent 4800 hours up to HoW. Maybe played 400 hours since that! Reason: nerfing removed any remaining incentive to acquire any gear. There will be nothing different in any future release from Bungie, so I will not 'shop' again. Hype will fail with me, but, I did enjoy year1... BTW: I respect those who feel the game improved after year1. I, however, come from a generation where growth came from challenges, not charity. Salmon swim upstream, they don't request the river calm itself so they have a balanced chance... They fight. Destiny is a war, at least that's what it said on the poster! Toy guns in War, right... Good luck to you all who continue this 'War', you will need it, you don't have any bullets...
