I noticed there have been a ton of crying, whining , salty comments regarding the release trailer and what people have to say about it or what my be coming in D2. One thing I wanted to mention is during the first reveal trailer for Age of Triumph we all knew there was going to be no "new" content and even though what they announced was much more than what a lot of people were expecting but still we all knew it was not going to be actual new new content. Despite all that their twitter feed pulled in over 110,000 viewers at the time of the Age of Triumph reveal. For comparison when The Division did their year 2 reveal their feed pulled in 5,000 viewers. That is a lot to say for Destiny for a base game that has been around for 3 years and still pulling in that kind of an audience. Knowing that moving forward I would say that the positive voice of the community is what drives it forward. Despite the complaining, whining, I'm a little bitch posts and threads that we see here on the forms those people are the minority and their voice has no value or meaning. I hope they all fade away but we all know they wont. Despite what they say now they will still buy D2 and bitch and whine like they have for the past 3 years. You are indeed sad individuals.

5 RisposteThis seems more like a taken king esque type of expansion than an actual sequel, same cut and dry bad guy shows up, we take bad guy, take out boss in raid get some quests blah blah blah rinse and repeat sure they might make a bigger explorable patrol but I doubt the story will progress and/or be what it was intended for the original destiny, it's the same activision strong arm oppressing get as many people as you can to play and buy their shitty cut dlc'a which they already have pre orders for, this is ridiculous I was stupid to think that we could actually get some depth as to who everyone, the traveller and everything is whilst developing those characters maybe even have three stories for each race and or subclass to make the player feel that they actually -blam!-ing matter in the story but -blam!- that here's another bad guy for you to defeat until the next mediocre DLC which we have already developed.

I love how that select few are complaining about how the old type of story was better because it made the player feel something or it was poetic. Remind me when we ever got a story arc that made the player shed a tear. Not to mention the story we see so far in the trailer is what bungie has always made. A story based around badassery and touch of comedy. I.e. The halo series 1-3. Destiny 1 was a poetic experience that a lot of the fans will never see or understand. That's why they changed it. A story in a poetic format is one hard to tell; and is hard to interpret for the general public.

When I saw the Law of The Jungle trailer it made me think that Destiny would have emotion and care put into the dialogue, story telling, and over all feel of the game. Instead it's just subpar and forgettable. Who reacts like this when their home, and the last bastion of humanity is being actively destroyed? It would of been so much more impactful if we say Cayde, a character who is typically care free and snarky, terrified and distraught as everything he's been fighting for is being burned around him. I'd appreciate this series much more if the writing INGAME had the same poetic and mysterious nature of some the grimoire and pre release trailers. Borderlands 2 does humor arguably well, while still doing characters and story telling even better. I see no reason why Destiny 2 can't do the same, if not just scrap the annoying humor and just focus on the ideals that were present when they were in the early stages of making this game. Like inducing a 'child-like sense of wonder'. Not saying I'm not going to buy the game, its just disappointing to see the emotion and care that was put into the grimoire and pre release trailers bleed out of the experience until all that's left is a dry thoughtless husk that's sprinkled with little pieces of 'humor' and 'character' that were found in a garbage bin. It just seems so... Uninspired. And the theme of the original trailers was just that. Hope and inspiration. Record book question The one guardian army node, how do you complete it. I have 49/50 but I've ton a ton of strikes and killed over 100 enemies and killed the most a few times but still haven't completed it.

Destiny 2s first mission is going back to the tower and rummaging through the rubble of your vault. You get to pick one of each weapon type and one of each armor piece.
