New Information - Dev Stream 3/15 [No Skolas]
[b]• Necrochasm confirmed to be returning, new Ornament seen in "Treasure of Ages" Silver Package. [/b]- [i]Ninja Nirvana[/i]
> New Ornament for Suros, Dragon's Breath, Touch of Malice, Vex Mythoclast and NLB.
> Lord of Wolves as well.
• No more Vault Space. (👌)
• Age of Triumph will begin with talking to the Speaker to start a quest. (lol no sh[b]i[/b]t)
• New [i]"Weekly Story Playlist"[/i]
> This is a quest that will take you through all of the content they've created thus far.
• New Silver Crate "Treasure of Ages" that gives all prior Silver-exclusive gear sets, emblems and emotes inside of it. In addition, some extra ornaments were seen and 2 ships if I'm not mistaken. New suit of Age of Triumph armor with 3 new shaders seen as well.
• ALL ornaments and MANY other things added to the Silver Dust kiosk, as to prevent repetitive rewards. SRL Sparrows and Shaders. Masks, Emotes and Lenses.
• Shaxx now offers [u]two[/u] Weekly Crucible bounties and a purchaseable "Crucible Engram"
• Challenge of Elders has been confirmed as a returning activity, [b]Skolas has not[/b].
• [b]Nightfalls now have the "Daybreak" modifier, taking in all of the "Epic" modifiers, while increasing all recharging abilities. [/b]
• "Daybreak" has been confirmed to be essentially Mayhem for PvE.
• Heroics now give (1) Treasure of Ages instead of the current Box thing.
• [b]Weekly Story Playlist is a new playlist that involves all the story missions in Destiny, remarkably similar to the short-lived Queen's Wrath event very early in Destiny.[/b]
• You can now get upwards of 3 Free Silver Crates a week from the activities in the left hand corner.
• We got to see a Daybreak version of the [b]Sunless Cell[/b] strike. They did indeed hipfire a Pulse Rifle multiple times.
• Daybreak Strikes seem to be relatively simple, just a Mayhem version of the current Strikes with a little bit more difficult enemies.
•[b] Rainbow Burn has returned![/b]
• Through the month of August, it will be all Daybreak Nightfalls.
• [b]The Blue satisfaction Flame from Nightfall Completion has returned![/b]
[b]• Twilight Garrison may or may not be affected by Shaders now.[/b]
[b]• ENGRAMS ARE NOW PURCHASEABLE WITH SILVER DUST. [/b] [i](Not entirely sure if they give Marks or Light Leveled gear, but FWC, Crucible and presumably all other factions have a purchasable engrams for 5 Silver Dust.)[/i]

No, the community wanted the raids to stay relevant a long time ago. Not as a way to extend the longevity of their game. We also didn't ask for Bungie to continuously take things away and give them back then call it new content. Now that we are finally getting them back, it's just in time not to carry forward.

Maybe if they'd put more effort into keeping all this older content relevant through updates rather than just releasing it at the end of the games lifecycle I'd be impressed. This whole Age of Triumph update hits me as the "Don't worry guys we listen to the community!". No, if you listened you wouldn't essentially be re-releasing all this old content back with a pretty new package. Remember when Bungie said they didn't want your old gear to become obsolete. Wow, only took a few years for that promise to follow through lol.

I understand that their work is mostly focused on destiny 2 right now and I get that, but This "Age of Triumphs" all sounds like a load of shit to try to get people back into the game. "Guys, I can get everyone back into the game. Just give them everything they've been asking for since launch and they'll come crawling bavk!" It's too little too late and while I may play it occasionally, I don't think I will be purchasing d2, at least that's how I feel now.

64 RisposteI'm a huge fan of destiny,but none of this excites me. Half of the stuff was removed from the game for no reason (nightfall flame) and is now coming back to "celebrate" us ? It makes no sense ! I just don't understand the hype for some ornaments, and the lack of skolas is a real bummer

35 RispostePeople complaining about wanting new content and not reskins need to buy a different game. ITS BEEN 3 YEARS. The only game I've ever seen stay this popular this long was Black ops 2, and that game never had a drop of extra content. Not even all the constant rebalancing of the crucible. Time to move on, or keep your mouth shut and ride it out till D2. Complaining won't change a thing, but if it really makes you feel better, I guess that's your right.

great, all that time I spent getting the mytho and nechrochasm was worthless. Nechro was never good in the entire time I've had it. And the mytho was bad for 99% of its time existing.

112 Rispostetotal fluff update.... I mean yeah some nice info but between Deej being a total weeb and the chat just lapping it all up like good little sheoples I wanted to vomit. It's not that I don't appreciate this event at all, it just feels yet again like far too little, too late. Like Bungie doesn't really care at all about their fanbase, only throwing us a bone once in a while when they sense the pitchforks coming out. I liken it to a person with stockholm syndrome trapped in an abusive relationship - they want out, but can't bring themselves to leave and keep going along with the abuse in the hopes of things improving when they only ever worsen; PvP being the best example of this. Well, at least Mass Effect will be out a full week before this all starts so I'll have somethign awesome to wet my whistle with before braving whatever cheap, half-arsed nonsense Bungie's got prepared for us. I mean honestly, ppl were losing their minds in chat over the blue flame coming back.... yay? I mean other than looking *kinda* cool, it doesn't mean anything now. It was actually useful way back during year 1, when I still didn't have most of the items and needed the EXP but now? It's purely cosmetic and people have solo/low manned so much of the games' hardest content that there's no real sense of accomplishment behind it either. That's another thing that bugs me, virtually all the major achievements in this game have been so trivialized at this point. so why am I here ranting? Because I don't want to see the same BS repeated in Destiny 2. I want to see a quality game put out next time and this IP take off into the amazing franchise it should have been from the start, and not just a cheap cash grab littered with sleezy marketing, microtransactions and skinnerbox design. Destiny has nowhere near the level of quality to it that it should - you want an amazing RPG experience, one that Bungie never actually delivered? Go buy Horizon: Zero Dawn, f'ing GOTY material. Or wait for Mass Effect next week. You want quality Multiplayer PvP? Get Overwatch, 2016's GotY and about to release another awesome Hero (Paragon's also quite fun and free to play though that's a MOBA). Destiny used to be fun, back during the Alpha (where there was absolutely no lag and PvP was mostly balanced.) and briefly after the VOG was released. But it's been a steady downhill fall ever since.
