I just want all my cosmetics like shaders, sparrows, ships, ghost shells, emblems to carry over and the stuff (emotes) I paid for... :/ instead they choose to be super lazy and say "oh you can take your character over" but we all know it's because they're lazy and don't want to improve the character creator...

No shotguns in D2. Pvp nerfs have no effect on pve content. Less vault space.

Mass Effect trilogy for me i think. Take my time and enjoy it. I cannot believe i have spent so much time on such a monotonous dreary game. It is just now i am actually getting into Crucible and i still can't get invited into a full raid for any bloody dlc.....

D1 is fundamentally flawed. I think they need to scrap and redo. (My opinion) This is probably the reason for it.

24 RisposteFor me (I'm just part of the community), why would I want to keep items from the previous game if the purpose of this next sequel is to move out of the first game and into the next? We all love new content, so I personally want to use new content. D2 isn't another expansion like D1's where it's the same game. It's a different game entirely.

A clean start is in the best interest of every one invested in Destiny. Hitting the reset button and starting a completely new game allows us to leave behind bias and opinion established during Destiny, while also enabling Bungie to maximize creativity in order to give us the best gaming experience as possible. I'm looking forward to see what the minds at Bungie come up with next. But as players, we need to have an open mind as well and let Bungie do their thing.

I feel the same way because I worked so hard and long for my stuff. I spent 3 years grinding for everything that I hold dear. My Simulant, Zero point LOTP and even my first legendary, the FINAL BOSS But the only thing that separates you from me is that I love destiny. I am willing to see what bungie does to the franchise for good or bad. I met some of the greatest people cheesing Crota that I still play with today. I made memories that make me smile, like getting a 5 man with a fusion rifle in their worst meta in rumble. (LIGHT/BEWARE still is the best) and memories that make me mad, like when we were at Skolas and I lagged out. We thought we had to redo all of it (which we did) then one of the guys told us to just wipe and I could join back. I will by Destiny 2, I will buy the dlc's, I'll maybe even buy an emote or two. I will always stay with destiny for better or for worst.

D2 needs a fresh start. Im done with Destiny, im done with the gear which is basically identical just looks different. Clean slate.

You aren't losing anything, they aren't deleting all your progress. You will still be able to play D1 and all its expansions, with all the guns you have and armor you kept in your vault. D2 will just have new stuff, and if you don't like it, play D1 with your tired ass guns until the severs are shut off.
