Since when? Last i heard/read was that D2 was basically a reset and your characters were not continuing on. There would be like special shit to commemorate D1, but you wont just carry on.

Thats what i heard as well, which is why i laughed at the collectors out there. They are saving and hoarding for stuff that will not carry over. Obviously this can change, but lots of rumors say otherwise. Bungle has done nothing but cater to casual gamers. I highly doubt they are letting stuff carry over into the next game. I can see novelty items that the population gets as a whole, but unique things will not happen. It will turn the brand new players away and make them not want to pickup the game. People don't buy into games like that if they feel they are years behind.

And old players don't return to games that don't let them carry their stuff over gene it was promised to us in year 1.

Yup Bungle needs to decide the direction they are going. This halfway shit just pisses off both sides.

That has not been confirmed. Also Hungie will likely let us keep ships, shaders and other cosmetics.
