I need help guys. I'm a huge gamer who loves all the console's. I had a PS2, GameCube and Xbox when they were all out. Got the 360 and Wii and eventually PS3 over time. And I currently have a Wii U and Xbone. But I need to know if I should get the Switch or PS4. It'd be for exclusives only. On PS4 I want Crash trilogy and the Spider-Man game so bad. Uncharted 4 and Horizon sound good too. And on the Switch I want Breath of the Wild and Mario Odyssey plus that badass deluxe edition of Mario Kart. Wouldn't mind some other exclusives like Fire Emblem and Splatoon 2 as well. Which one is more worth it?

It sounds like it'd be a better investment for you to get a Switch, because you listed more games that you want for the Switch than games for the PS4. Also, the Switch is new and different, where the PS4 is pretty much the same as a Xbox One, but it's just got those games that you wanted.

PS4 is a safer choice. Lots of quality games on it, with plenty more coming. Switch is still a gamble.

Nintendos exclusives outclass Sony IMO But that's really just a matter of preference. I've been considering getting a PS4 for a while now, but I'm skipping it and going Switch. Plus just my inner nerd can't wait to play Zelda and Mario. I know they'll be great games before reviews ever come out. I'd rather buy the PS4 way down the road for cheap, and buy all the good games used for cheap. Their exclusives age really well usually, so that's just my preference.

3 RisposteLol who plays Nintendo
-
Just for your interest: Crash is only a time limited exclusiv!
-
3 RispostePretty sure that fire emblem game is actually just dynasty warriors with a fire emblem skin not a traditional fire emblem game
-
22 RisposteIt amazes me that people who own multiple consoles and their exclusives complain that a PC would cost too much money...
-
The switch has a pretty poor game selection at launch, most of which are available for PS3/360/Wii, whereas PS4 already has dozens of awesome exclusives out. Buy the PS4 and give it 6 months whilst you play through the exclusives. Splatoon 2 has been announced for later in 2017 I believe, so get your switch then.
-
I wouldn't buy a switch, at least not at launch. You can play Zelda on a Wii U.
-
This is actually closer than I expected it to be

5 RisposteDon't buy a switch it's gonna a flop like the Wii u

Modificato da QueCyraCyra: 2/27/2017 7:42:49 PMI'd say for now your best choice is gonna be a PS4 cuz there's so many great games already out and going to come out for it exclusively. And meanwhile the switch will likely be awesome, unless you have the spare money for both, I'd say to wait until more games come out for the switch.
though despite saying this, I may get one for my birthday in a couple days...
Of the two? PS4. Switch is gonna suck.
-
Build a pc, and you can play any console you'll like
-
Modificato da Scoose_McGoose: 2/27/2017 5:51:23 PMDepends. I'll have both, come Friday. I think Switch will do very well. It needs more games and more time, but it all comes down to what you like and what your friends play.
-
If you are unsure about the switch I'd just wait if I were you. PS4 is currently where the good exclusives are so out of the 2 PlayStation is your best bet.

(1.) How important are the different exclusives? (2.) Would you enjoy a portable device? (3.) Can you afford the accessories for the consoles? (4.) Do Sony controllers feel bad to you? (5.) How much space do you have under your tv? (6.) Would you have issues deciding which console to buy certain games for?

1 RispondiA switch will have more exclusives, but maybe not as good of ones. sense you have an xboner id say a switch to get the full diversity. Im a ps4 console player so part of me originally said that but they are pretty much the say besides menu ui and controllers
-
You have a substantially bigger library on the PS4 due to it being on the market for three years now. The Switch library currently sits at 0 games on shelves. Breath of the Wild is no doubt a must have. You can get it for Wii U and put off the Switch purchase.
-
Which one's exclusives do care more about it?
-
2 RisposteNintendo Switch = paying several hundred dollars to play Zelda. That's.... it. PS4 = the best gaming console on the market now. Hardware is neck and neck with Xbox, but the exclusives are so so so so so much better.
-
Have you considered building a PC? There are many benefits, and it's really not as complicated as many console gamers make it out to be. I can help you understand some of the benefits and such if you'd like. Also, there's more benefits than higher fps and graphics (though it is quite nice)
-
The only thing that's making the switch worth it is Zelda, I mean it's pretty -blam!-ing convincing, but a ps4 will give you a bit more bang for your buck
-
Buy wii u instead
