They actually added guns to COD4. I would be a lot more upset but I stopped playing the game thanks to other games I felt like playing more. I realize that this makes them money, and with the other games it made sense for them as a company, but I don't see how this helps them in the long run. People have already stopped playing and now they have ruined a game that a lot of people hold sacred. It just baffles me that the only thing everyone wanted during this awful year of COD was "to leave COD4 alone" and they do the polar opposite. I'm more astounded than angry. Can't wait for them to ruin destiny 2 as well.
Thoughts?

Modificato da wojo55: 2/14/2017 9:34:41 PMNah there's no way destiny 2 will be a downgrade. It's already pretty bad They only can go up from destiny. I'm hoping it will be what we wanted the first one to be. Still dominating with the m16

5 RisposteThese guys are the dirtiest scumbags in the industry. When are people going to hold them accountable? EA got a lot of flak for many years, and some was well deserved; yet Activision makes EA look like angels. If an article came out tomorrow about an Activision board member selling one of their own children for profit I wouldn't even flinch, I would just post a link and say see I told you so.
-
3 RisposteI didn't buy MWR because I knew they will pull this bullshit eventually lol
-
I want activsion to go bankrupt
-
1 RispondiSo, did you see Activision's fourth quarter earnings report? Black Ops 3 supply drops have made more revenue in the history of COD, even more than actual DLC map packs. If they let streamers and dumb youtubers get away with spending hundreds and even thousands of dollars on supply drops to influence younger generations on viewership to attempt to do the same, just imagine how much games and consoles are going to cost in the next 10 or so years.
-
1 RispondiIf they were even mildly interested in building a strong community for cod4 or making the community happy, they'd have sold it as a stand alone from day one. Activision gives zero shits about their customers.
-
12 RisposteI hope Destiny 2 isn't dog shit.
-
It doesn't bother me in the slightest
-
1 RispondiYou think they'll add micros to the Crash remaster? I don't think anything published by Activision has just released for the sole purpose of fun

I'm happy about it as it adds variety. I already got the XM-LAR from 6 crates (I saved up 187 tokens). Ended up getting the Epic and both Rares needed for it so it only cost about 1800 scrap.
-
I couldn't care less, the new guns still can't make me put down my one-shot M16.
-
1 RispondiI don't understand how people can get upset by anything Activision does to CoD 4. Seriously, they forced you to buy the special edition of a game they knew you didn't want to get it. Now everybody acts like their gamer honor has been somehow violated because they are *blam-ing it up just like they've *blam-ed up all their games. Guess what, you've already picked up the soap. At this point, you've got to either learn to enjoy it, or stop bending over.

Amazing...

2 RisposteActivision Blizzard discovered that microtransactions makes them money since Candy Crush Saga.
Yes, they own King and yes, Activision and Blizzard are one and the same.
-
5 RisposteI'm not bothered. CoD4 has always been a balance mess.
-
1 RispondiI mean, it's Activi$ion, what do you expect.
-
If you want cod 4 then go play cod 4.
-
Absolute madmen hahaha
-
They gotta make up the money from reduced sales somehow, but god forbid they do it by putting out a good game
-
3 RisposteC'mon, it was just a matter of time, and we all knew it.....just didn't want to admit it. ):
-
What cucks.
-
I don't really play COD in general but man. Can Activision get any worse?
-
It was going to happen sooner or later. I was very surprised at how little I played cod4. I got the iw/cod4 pacakage and played iw way more. Cod4 had its time in the sun time to retire it for good. Adding guns is just a last desperate gasp for money by activision obviously. That means cod4 ain't getting the numbers they thought it would.
I realize that this makes them money, and with the other games it made sense for them as a company, but I don't see how this helps them in the long run.
Activision tells its investors that it makes up for lost sales with micro-transactions. The underlying truth is that Activision is making shittier games that fewer people are willing to buy. Activision's response is to sell more micro-transactions. I wish another publisher had Destiny.

I thought they sold it separately. 😪😥
