I like a girl... How do I tell her?
I don't even know why I came to Offtopic for this but here's the scoop. We are both in the same class... She knows who I am but we don't talk much... She also dances in class which I find really cute. How do I talk to her?
Edit: i need advice on striking up a convo. Not on asking her out yet.
Edit 2: I'm nervous and today is Friday... Maybe I should ask for her number to contact her over the weekend but I don't know.
Edit 3: I guess I have some dance within me because my status is "boogie till you woogie, baby." Who knows?

Tell ger you like her dancing then transition to something neutral. Watch her reaction to the complement. If she seems to like it press your advantage so you don't land in the friend zone. If she seems off put by the complement then it doesn't really matter what you say. The worst thing you can do is nothing. Better to try and fail then wonder what could gave been. Also the attempt will reinforce your courage. Trust me.

So you want to ease into her friendship. You have to atleast talk to her, But don't be a creep. The reasons you described seem like reasons based on loom though. But I could be wrong.

All you really have to do is talk to her. Just saying hello and asking her things should lead to conversation. If she ignores you like the plague then you know to just forget about it.

2 RisposteI would personally NOT talk to her. If you want to know that she likes you, you wait for her to say something. If she talks to you about it, you are in the clear. If she goes to some other guy, then you know it was never meant to be. But in full honesty, don't take my advice to seriously. I purposely made myself unattractive in high school because girls between middle school and college are real. B's.

Say hi, then follow up with small chat, filter in the question if she is seeing someone. If the answer is no then ask to speak to her after class. Maybe a coffee shop or some semi private place to talk to her. Just be yourself (chicks dig that in a guy)

7 RisposteIn my experience women want a man, not a puppy dog. I'm married now but when I was single this got me so much tail. Like I said - they don't want a puppy dog, plus women are sexualized pretty much every day of their lives starting in teen/pre-teen years. So don't act like you have them on a pedestal or act like a love sick puppy. You can get into 'golly you're the most beautiful girl I've seen in my life' after you establish something. For me, what worked the best was indifference. Treat them like a friend. I'd just start with a joke or something to make her laugh then that's it for a day or two, then build into a more regular conversation. Most important is just treat her like you have no interest in that way. Just make them laugh and be friendly but NOT like someone you have a crush on. If they ask if you want to so something don't be like "OMG YES YES YES!!!!!" Shrug and say 'sure' or 'yeah, I guess so'. Don't try to kiss them, don't try to touch them....just act like a typical male friend. I can't even count how many times the girl would end up throwing herself at me after acting like this. Tl;dr treat her like someone you have no attraction to, like a typical male friend. Make her laugh and don't linger too long.

Having a crush is the best and worst thing. My advice to too just simply talk to her, how was your day or how are you? Simple questions like that could spark friendship. Ask for answers or a pencil or two. Don't force a relationship or anything, take it slow. If you text her and she doesn't reply, don't text her for a week or two. Simply just say hi in the hallway and small things like that could spark a relationship.

Well my friend, there is only one way to know if a girl likes you. Here is what you have to do. Put some toast in an envelope with her name on it and give said envelope to her. Then wait for up to two days. If she gives you an envelope back..., do not open it until you get home. Get home, open it and there should be nude pics of her inside. The next day talk to her alone after or before school. Then you have to say a secret code, is the peanut butter in the potato? If she answers, No it is in the apple sauce, then she likes you. If she kicks you in the balls and runs away, then it is safe to say she is not interested. Hope that helps

Aight, here we go. So the biggest mistake is making it a big deal. You've gotta just be chill and act natural. Keep eye contact, don't look at the ground or past her or whatever. Think of something to talk about before hand. A common interest maybe. "I noticed you liked... (common interest)" That's the walk up and chat method. Even more natural is if you try to get assigned to do class exercises or projects with her and casually ask some questions.
