Note for some: If you have gotten an external link from anyone with my name, pay attention to the "I" before the "E" in "Turtle", he is trolling you. Some no life who has no business on your stream or psn. I would report him immediately for spam and impersonation and block him from your account.
It's freaking retarded that we can stomp our first team we go up against and the next three we get completely trashed by streamers and no lifers. We have yet to go flawless since the beginning of RoI because no one on our skill level or lower plays it. They don't because they are destroyed by teams that farm our skill base. It's freaking retarded that I can't enjoy the actual competitive side of Destiny at all. What's the point if you can't win 7 matches in a row?
Update #1: two cards completely wiped on the sixth win. Boons and all. So freaking stupid
Update #2: Lots of people agreeing with me and a lot more people who probably feed off the attention saying that I need to "git gud". So if you sweaty tryhards are so good, then why do you not want this to find players that are on your skill level? Is it because you would have to try? And it wouldn't be a carry anymore? Would you lose your viewers? Because you are afraid to lose a match every now and then?
Update #3: I have to go to work now, like the other 87% of my country. Which includes an hourly paying job with a manager standing over my head. Not bashing anyone and their lifestyle, just saying how not everyone can be elitists like some others. Change the way Trials of Osiris plays. Make it a Tier listing. Play against people with in your tier base. Not people who do this for a living.
Update #4: Lol to the person who found it necessary to message myself and two of my other friends under my PSN. Talking to PSN reps currently to report for using impersonation of my account. Wouldn't be surprised if you were someone who has no life to find ways to message their friends and talk crap as an imposter. What a pansy.
Update #5: A week later and I'm still going up against 1700 elos on my 6th win! You have got to be kidding Bungie? How is someone suppose to win these?

4 RisposteModificato da Zero the Remnant: 1/10/2017 12:32:12 AMI recognize your frustation. But Trials has been this way since day 1. The majority of PVP players like it as is. While I personally feel they need to add oncentives to keep ppl playing Trials. I don't see it changing. That said, YOU need to calm down. Right now...you are frustrated & when you are frustrated you do not think straight, react well, nor fight rationally. Trials requires focus, strategy, & teamwork. So stop playing. Relax, drink a beer to mellow down. Then retry with a cooler head. PVP is not a chill nor relaxing experience you need to keep your emotions & nerves in balance. Chill out, focus, try again if you desire. When a game becomes what you currently are experiencing then its time for a break. Despite what the 10% of Destiny's playerbase who actually visit these forums may say... Games are meant to be fun. Not a job. (Edit: Fixed voice to text errors.)

I don't really think SBMM is a good idea. If you think about it, the players who the streamers carry are usually not the best players. As SBMM would have it, this would cause the streamers to face easy opponents very often. Don't believe me? Go into a game of Skirmish with someone who has never played that game mode before with a negative KD and play another game with top 1% ( or 5% or 10%, whoever you can find) players in your fireteam. I guarantee you that the players you face with the negative KD player will be easier to beat than those you would face with top 1% players in your fireteam. Now, I have nothing against streamers. In fact, I have the utmost respect for several streamers since I know that what they do isn't easy. With that being said, they shouldn't be hand fed easy wins like this. I know you wouldn't be running into streamers every game, but I think the odds of a lower skilled player matching against a skilled Trials sherpa/streamer increase considerably by making Trials SBMM. And of course, there's always the issue of finding players of your fireteam's skill level which is likely to cause lag. I think Trials should just be full CBMM. I've already said why I don't think SBMM is a good idea, and the card based match making isn't good either. It makes it very difficult for lower skilled players to even progress past 5 wins. This makes it difficult just for them to get a weapon at 7 wins, assuming that they even have a chance of making it that far. CBMM makes it fair. I know that CBMM will result in less lag, but that's a bit obvious. I want to explain a few benefits that are unrelated to lag. If you're a lower skilled player, you no longer have to worry about hitting a wall at that 4 or 6 win mark every week. Everyone will have an equal chance of racking up wins. Made it to 8 wins and worried you might lose your flawless run? Well if it was CBMM, then there's a very low chance that you'll be going against someone else that's better than you. It might be more difficult at the begging of the card, but at least if you can get those first few wins, you won't be discouraged that you can't get the number of wins you want because there will always be at least a slight chance that you face a team that you might be able to beat. So there you have it. CBMM would make it so that everyone has a better chance of getting rewards instead of having to climb that 8-0 wall every weekend. So long as you're better than the rest out there, you'll come out on top.
-
Sure, lets have sbmm BUT there must be a tiered reward system so better players get more/better loot from flawless than players that are less skilled.
-
Just because sbmm defends you in crucible from getting pubstop, it doesn't mean you won't get destroyed by players of your same skill in trials of osiris.

2 RisposteMy trials experience in a nutshell. Game 1: Kds? Negative. Elo? Not above 1000. Easy win. Game 2: Kds? 2.5+. Elo? 2000+. We get shat on. Game 3: Kds? 3.2, 2.7, .4. CARRY. We get shat on. "Okay, one more game" Game 4: Kds? Negative. Elo? Not above 1000. Heres the thing... they are all redbarring. We lose.
-
3 RisposteThat's the whole point of trials, only the best win.
-
95 RisposteThen it would not be trials. You either need to improve your team game to the top 1% level or lower your expectations. It's really the only thing in this game that could be considered hard. Hats off to Bungie for keeping it that way.
-
Nope. Only thing separating players right now is skill. It's completely fair.
-
2 RisposteThey've hit the point of no return. They let the population tank so badly they can't split it by sbmm now and expect matches to have any kind of quality

Modificato da TheTriple6Krogan: 1/9/2017 2:16:16 PMI work 60 hours a week, have a girlfriend and a 10 month old and still practice on crucible every night for 2-3 hours, I just recently switched to PS4 because I wanna play trials on PS4 because iv gone flawless plenty on Xbox already, I classify myself as a sweat but not the best that being said I work and go try hard for every flawless, I can be 4-6 wins in and Il be sweating and try just for those wins only to have to do it again next game, I love it When I win a game and I realize iv been squeezing the controller because i tried so hard it makes it worth playing and I wouldn't want to be made any easier
-
1 RispondiSounds too easy to manipulate. You could easily just make a new account and get an easy flawless. 100% connection matchmaking for trials would be best
-
3 RisposteConnection is all that matters. I'd rather get destroyed then face red bars.
-
Hey, man. The push for CBMM didn't affect trials.

2 Risposte"Wahh! I want SBMM!" *Gets SBMM* "Wahh! I want CBMM!" *Gets CBMM* "Wahh! I want SBMM!" ( ͡͡ ° ͜ ʖ ͡ °)

2 RisposteChrist you people just can't make up your minds; first you hate it and flood the forums with your discontent, now you want it.
-
2 RisposteWell once again go 6 and 0 and the last 3 games we get completely trashed... bungie what the actual hell?

67 RisposteModificato da Beeks91: 1/11/2017 8:12:32 AMWanna know the solution ? Being better at the game. The Matchmaking setting in trials is based off the number of wins you have on a card, you will always play someone with the same amount of wins. Edit : To all idiots that thinks trials matchmaking works in a different way https://mobile.twitter.com/Cozmo23/status/806967881770496000

19 Rispostesomeone joins my raid with a trials emblem on i say -blam!- you and boot! go do your shitty trials! prob just -blam!- the connection anyway!
-
1 RispondiWhy is it retarded that you destroy your first team? The match making is clearly working as intended... the more wins you get the harder it gets. Think of it like the olympics, you start doing heats which are running which arent the best then as you progress through the heats you being running against faster people until you reach the finals where the best people are. ToO match making is basically the same, the field is open to everyone who being their card in the first match... all skill levels but its gets harder and harder.
-
You play trials to play at this point. Keep the expectations low because the amount of players in the base itself is low. Low competition = higher skill level players at low brackets instead of average or bad players. It is what it is.
-
-
Trials isn't competitive also lol
-
3 RisposteWho cares...what r looking for? The emblem? The weapons?-they suck. It's imo the biggest waste of -blam!-ing time other than watching paint dry.
-
2 RisposteIts a tournament style. The patriots in the NFL aren't gonna play the Cowboys 16 times and then 4 more times in the playoffs to reach the superbowl. They get to play a Houston team and are favored to win by 15 next week. You are going to play tougher teams as you play on the card. Unfortunately right now as the population dwindles a lot of the casual players have left. It has nothing to do with the game mode itself it has to do with Destiny being completely dry. Theres nothing else to do in the game but PVP. Trials is probably the only thing keeping Destiny afloat right now or you are just grinding nightfalls for the Icebreaker. So instead of facing the stomp teams on wins 8-9 you are facing them on wins 3+ it gets really difficult. Because of the increase in difficulty, requirements get stricter meaning teams are of even HIGHER skill so then carrying a lower skill player for even the average team becomes difficult. Its why you are seeing even TOP level streamers having to go back to the reef and try again because even top 1% guys can't beat the three team stompers that are being created. Just what happens if you play now and learn good tactics tho you will ABSOLUTELY be better prepared for when Destiny releases new content and the playerbase inflates again. You will go flawless no problem then. Its just do you wanna give up and wait or get stomped and change your play style to improve to stomp later on.
