RIP Command and Conquer

3 RisposteBrings me back to the 90s.

Dude, back in the 90s, almost all AAA games had real life video cut scenes. Even Civ 2 had full motion video. Personally, I love it.

2 RisposteModificato da lietenantdan: 12/22/2016 8:40:36 PMI think most games now put trackers on actors and have them play out the cut scene anyways. But it is a little weird if the cut scene looks too much different than the rest of the game.

1 RispondiWith Alan Wake, it just felt like episodes of an old series of shorts. Quantum Break however did feel a bit jarring at times.
-
I feel like even though it's using RL cutscenes almost seamlessly and the games graphics may be top notch, it still breaks the immersion factor.
-
Lol its essentially episode 1-3 prequels
-
2 RisposteI like consistency. I'd find it too distracting to play a game made where the game repeatedly switches back and forth between real life footage and in engine constructs.
-
3 RisposteI remember the live-action cutscenes from the ps1 days. Shockwave Assault, Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero, etc. Man, those were cheesy.
-
It's kinda weird
-
I enjoyed Quantum Break immensely. The live action episodes didn't take me out of immersion.

Do metal gear solid V's count? If so then yes.

Depends on the graphics of the game I guess
