RIP wallet if you want the armor
Well its happening again guys and girls. If you want armor you got yo spend over $50 for it. Just give us the armor instead of saying no you have to buy it to get it.

You don't need to spend over 50, unless you're trying to gear three characters. 20 should do it. If you can't swing 20, don't sweat it, it's just for the sexiness.

2 Risposte/rant People think just because you don't buy them, you're poor. That isn't the case. Eververse purchases support the live events, but the live events are just more micro transactions. Once live events become more about the event, and less about Eververse, I'll dish out some money on the gear. You could say, "Just ignore it." And yes, I very well can, except for the fact that this gear is the only new gear being added. We've had SRL gear last year, the other legendaries are just reskinned blues, and everything else is brought back. The only real new pieces of gear are the Dawning armor sets, which most likely you need to pay for to acquire all sets. I would be completely fine if we had a new, different thing that we could acquire in game. Yes, I can get a set from the activities, but it's all up to RNG. I want to be able to play the game for knowing that if I play this activity, I know I can get this item. Overall, the Dawning was a better event, I just wish that the main attraction wasn't what was being locked behind a gamble. I could very well buy the boxes, but it's the premise that buying these micro transactions only justify their place in the game. /endrant

It's terrible, because the armor is supposed to be for us. The Guardian that saved the world. The armor is supposed to be our visual representation right at this very moment. All you have to do to get it...either buy it (like an idiot) or grind (waste of time). It's not worth it. The VoG armor was the best armor by far, at least for the Titans, I really do like Iron Companion and the year one Vanguard armor. They need to bring those back, for the Titans at least.

I've never bought anything through eververse except with the first 200 silver everyone got. Spending money on cosmetic stuff in a game isn't really my thing. Yeah some of it looks really cool, I was very very close to buying silver to get the ghost ghost in Fotl just gone. Coolest looking ghost by far! BUT I wasn't gonna risk losing £20+ to have a chance at getting it. But if people wanna spend their money on silve and eververse then fine, let them it's their money. Respawn has done it right with Titanfall 2, with free DLCs/updates and microtransactions where you can buy exactly what you want - No RNG involved. It just feels like they actually care about their community instead of caring how much money they can make off their community

I won't pay a dime for any cosmetic item that is rng. Make it guaranteed and I would consider it. Making it rng is just a money making and greedy scam by bungie.

I got a set of armor after 12 packages. But after 15, I had three weapon skins and 12 revamped rare armor pieces and zero sparrows... *grumble*

I agree and disagree. If you work hard and make your own money then spend it how you want. Would I recommend spending it on in game crap? No lol. But hey I work 60 hours a week if I wanted to spend a little on some armor who says I can't ? ( I didn't btw but I could if I wanted to). This is just my opinion but if your like me who has a job and wants to by hookers, cocaine , and SRL armor then why not ?? lol lol lol

Yup. I've opened four packages and every time I get the reskined Seraph warlock armor, never one of the new pieces. I don't like it. I'd rather have the reskined Tengu Operant armor from Zavala. But both times I did the bounty he gave me arms, so who knows when I'll get that complete set. I don't want emotes. I don't want stupid horns that you can't even hear. This three week event could end up not being long enough to grab a full set of gear. Luckily the only set worth getting is for the warlock. The Titan and hunter sets looks retarded. So at least I won't have to waste time trying to get packages for them too.

It's expendable income that I will use for things I enjoy. I am quite passionate about this game. If it helps feed money to the employees... so be it. Maybe my thoughts and reactions to these types of posts (and the replies about people buying into the micro transactions) is because I'm on a different income level. I don't know. I do know that I will be buying enough silver in a few hours to obtain the gear that I desire. :)
