The phrase isn't "I could care less." Unless of course, you're saying that you actually care a lot. If you're saying that you don't care at all, the phrase is "I couldn't care less."
If you COULD care less, that means you care a lot and have the capacity to care less without it being problematic.
If you COULDN'T care less, then there's no possible way that you could ever care less about the situation.
TL;DR- if you're going to be edgy, please make sure you're using the correct expression, you look like a moron otherwise.

11 RisposteModificato da mulldoe: 12/11/2016 2:48:26 PMActually both are correct, "I could care less" is actually said sarcastically. It comes from Yiddish humour and actually pre dates the idiom "I couldn't care less". So before you run your mouth in the future try to know what you're talking about. Hopefully this will help you look less moronic and uninformed in the future.....but I doubt it, anyway, have a good one!
it's also a sweet song https://youtu.be/B9_nsXgtD6k
Ive been telling people this for years. (Not on b.net of course, god forbid having an opinion is taboo)

3 RisposteYea, that one gets to me as well. Another one I see a lot is "could of" or "should of". Nowhere in the English language should "of" come after "should" or "could". It's "have" people.

I could care more.

I could care less could also imply that you don't care that much about something, but not completely not caring about it at all. Get over yourself.

How the -blam!- is that comment "edgy"? Expressing one's lack of care towards something is something we all do. Also this is the Internet, nobody cares about typos except people with low self esteem that need to correct people to feel better about themselves. Grow up

Perhaps we actually could care less? Did you ever think of that? No. Because you couldn't care less about what we mean.
