shotgun
it's become ridiculous how everyone is using only shotgun in crucible. specially when the miditor 64 came out.
i mean WTF?
there is sniper, sidearm , fusion rifle. and also PRIMARY WEAPONS.
this not destiny anymore. it's something completely different. the crucible is not fun anymore.
yo bungie. i think it's the time when you start to think about making the game better. we pay a lot. so we have every right to say what destiny need to be better.
anyway it only leave us with 2 answers
1) ban the shotgun from crucible only.
2) make the player take triple damage if he equip a shotgun. >EQUIP<. not only held it.
destiny in year 1 was really fun. not like now.

And if they're not I just jump around like a monkey on crack. Also tfc+throwing knife+knife juggler works damn well to stop them.

13 RisposteI use a shotgun. But only situationally. And I use quantiplasm, not matador. I dismantle those immediately. Primary is always my go to. I've been loving outbreak prime ever since I got it. My favorite pvp weapon atm.

3 RisposteShotguns are not the issue, it is whatever range perk that seems to give some of them a 20 foot range... But one must look at the evolution of the players. I hate shotguns with a passion, but started giving it a try... now I love it. Not because it is a meta or op, but because it sped up my game. Gave me movement I never tried while sitting with a sniper or hoping I had the charge rate vs distance planned out on a fusion... shotguns, no matter what game, always beats said guns. It's a game. People want to run around and have fun and a lot of good players rush you, close the distance that removes your gun and put a shotty in your face. But the point, perhaps players just started seeing the benefit of a shotgun once they started grasping how to use it. Perhaps those that do not accept change sit in the past. This is coming from someone that does not have an op shotgun that kills people twenty feet away though. I have to be up in someone's face with it and this is by maneuvering myself because I also do not have a magic shield to just approach people and get the kill. I do not camp corners because, that is boring. That is why I stopped sniping... because it is more like a fishing simulator rather than a fps VIDEO GAME.

Unfortunately shotguns get kills quick where most primaries take a cuople seconds at least. I use everything, even those slow firing scout rifles and of course shotguns.
