Because it allows player to keep more weapons, weapons they want to take out later for a new experience or just to have fun in pvp

In game, it doesn't negatively affect anyone. However, if it takes people, time and resources away from bungie fixing gameplay issues or preparing destiny 2, then it negatively affects everyone. I'm indifferent to whether they increase vault space as an isolated issue. But at a time when crucible matchmaking and lag are directly affecting the experience many people have in the game, I think bungie's resources should be used to address that before anyone works on vault space.

Adding a page or 2 to the vault doesn't take away resources, whatever they plan on fixing (hand cannon accuracy, high impact pulses) they'll do either way, but if vault space is not requested they will ignore it

Seems like the opposite is true too - even if it gets requested, they will ignore it.
