Red bars suck just as bad as Bungie

7 RisposteRed bars in Destiny will NEVER dissapear. The reason: those are HOSTS. The P2P picks a player with the best ping as host. Many times this player has a too low bandwidth for all players to play on, plus some other factors. This is also the reason red bars dominate Destiny's PvP. They always have a latency advantage.

1 RispondiYou've been a red bar because if you play a match and the host was Australian and you live in the US. guess what you just became a redbar thx to P2P connection. Even if you said you have Fiberoptic with 300 up and down you are still red bar especially if the host across the world have a mediocre or bad internet. Dedicated servers are needed to fix this.

Just remember Bungie is making some not all but some of this. I left two matches today back to back as I found I had a red bar and I won't play that way. I must have been being hosted from who knows where. How do I know it wasn't me? I quickly checked my internet on a near by laptop and found 9ms ping 100Mbps down 20Mbps up at that moment. A fabulous internet being ruined by what ever sewage system of match making bungie is using that is clearly prioritizing connection....

3 RisposteYou know going to be honest. I've been having to paly at my moms house over the holidays and she's on rural internet. On wifi no less. Been red baring a lot. Weird thing is, I'm dumping tons of ammo on people and shots aren't registering but people are like, shooting me through walls and across maps and stuff.now. I'm the one lagging so I'm not particularly angry.... I just find my self wondering how red bars can manage to get such high scores when when I lag It's like I'm shooting a cap gun.
