I'd just like to point out that I'm only sharing a video that was uploaded to TWITCH, intended for public viewing. I'm not saying any names I'm just saying watch this video, at the ten minute mark you'll hear "so what just boot them" and then more things like "I'll give you 20 dollars if you kick them" and somebody asking who their internet service provider is.
I got disconnected in the 4th round just after he ended the stream, then my friend too right at the end of the game at the last kill just a bit too late. You can see the guy who is AFK probably on a computer.
This is my friends POV
https://youtu.be/DIbRistH_Aw
It's on my recent games on guardian.gg where you can see me and my friend as deserters, the one where I have a 2.67.
These guys are quite highly ranked so probably been playing like this for a long time, I'm not accusing them of anything but what do you think to the videos? Just bad connection? It could be anything.
I'd also like to say disconnects can happen all the time in Destiny, a lot of people will DC and assume it's an attack when it's very likely something else caused it. Teams that we play against will have a player lag out against us sometimes and none of the people I play with cheat and I always think "damn I bet they're going to report us".
So don't get too riled up because it can happen :) Destiny is a great game and this is the first time in all the Trials I've played that I've had a situation like this, it can happen to anybody playing any game it's not just a Destiny thing and Trials is certainly a great playlist to me.

39 RisposteDDoS'ing is absolutely nowhere near the issue some of you bandwagon jumpers are making out right now. I have played more trials games than most. Run 50-70 games each weekend and have never been DDoS'd, and have only ever had one instance where possibly one guy on my team had it done to them. What I do experience every weekend is someone shouting "-blam!-ING LAG!" everytime they die, because they can't just accept that they died. Most weekends I'll hear someone accuse someone of cheating, because they can't accept that they're getting beat. Destinys P2P set up, leads to a shit load of issues, but they're issues everyone will experience. The absolute majority of the time, you're not getting cheated by an opponent, you're just getting bested. I personally, and most of you at some point have, received multiple messages accusing me of cheating, when to be quite honest, I wouldn't even know where to start if I did want to cheat. If you have proof of someone cheating, I'm all for posting it and pushing for the banhammer. The truth is, most people don't have proof, because it's not happening.

41 RisposteDeej: If you don't want to experience cheating, use the private matches. That's why it's there.
-
7 RisposteLol. It's TOTALLY "just a Destiny thing". Pick 5 random online games, and go play them. See if you have the same problem..

2 RisposteBump me.

10 RisposteLots of posts about this since R.O.I so what is it really ,anyone?? Its not actually a DDOS is it? And how are they doing it!? I'm no genius but I understand ddos attacks work like this ..the attacker sends thousands and thousands of well, let's say request to .. if it was a website, the website, and overload the server, but in trials are they sending certain request to players on the opposing team like invites or something or actually are they linking their xbox/playstztion to their pc and using a program?? Last year christmas destiny and cod was taken down apparently by lizard squad DDOS attack and when that happened I found out its not easy to DDOS a big site or a whole game you need massive Internet bandwidth and it cost money how I don't know. So can anyone shed some light on what is actually happening with this trials DDOS pandemic please ??

1 RispondiIt is just a destiny thing. And here is why: -the servers are naturally bad (due to so many things happening at once) -it has major endgame events ( going flawless is highly coveted and not many other games have something like it) -because flawless is so wanted, people will do ANYTHING to get it.
i will say, though, that this has never happened to me in trials
2 RisposteI played trials this last Saturday on Xbox. One team we went up against was a double carry and the two players being carried suddenly stated spamming us with party and game invites. It lagged or connections horribly, but thankfully we held up and stayed connected (only contacting destiny servers once or twice, but never fully lost connection). The invites went on the entire time we played them and were EXTREMELY annoying, but we still won in the end.

i just looked at all the players in question last games against you and many others. It doesnt seem like a ddos, heres why. You didnt leave the scorborad system like i normally would see from getting ddos. Again you have this evidence of them talking about kicking people, looks like his friend was hesitant but did it any way. Its just odd that you apper on the scorborad but got kicked. Unfortunately we have to leave bungie up to it to figure it out.
-
You should of just got 8 other 3 Man teams and made your own Trials tournament in private matches..duh
-
1 Rispondieveryone just spam the report button on twitch and get these guys some attention. Even if Bungie won't do anything twitch might. kinda hilarious that this has over 200 upvotes and no comment from bungie or Cosmo
-
Can I get a headass?
-
So what's their rank?
-
Modificato da Poolwizard: 11/21/2016 7:28:19 PMGlad I didn't do trials this week. Not only a shit map but Bungie can't do their job and ban cheaters. I guess I'll stay with Infinite Warfare. It's pretty fun messing around with friends unstead of getting ddossed at 8 and 0.
-
1 RispondiOh my god, I just went to his stream and said,"do you ddos?" And he perm banned me. LOL
-
8 RisposteRun a netcat or simmilar across your router wan port. Then feed it to a logging mode firewall. When you see the malformed or oos packet count spike. See if you are suddenly kicked. If you have a router that supports this sort of logging use that instead. If its from a manageable ip range ( or group ) add a black hole route or a return to sender loop. Watch that last one as you are then also dosing the source ip as much as they do you. Had to do this a few years back for counterstrike cheaters. Sigh so much easier then.
-
Too late for this rant.
-
That's actually disgusting, the pov of your friend cannot be anything but foul play, when had that ever happened? These guys are going to get what's coming to them lol
-
Merely one of MANY reasons why I won't touch ToO anymore. It's straight shit.
-
54 RisposteSay it with me: "Why the fuck should anyone consider dabbling in Trials when you can expect shit like this?"
-
6 RisposteI have a feeling this entire thread will be modified to protect the names of the cheaters and the cheaters won't get banned. Time to put your foot down Bungie, issue a console ban on all 3 of these cheaters. Also get in contact with Twitch to have them banned from streaming. There's enough evidence provided that it goes beyond coincidence.
-
Video doesn't exist. Illuminati confirmed
-
Everyone here who is outraged needs to go to the twitch stream and REPORT THEM TO TWITCH. I guarantee that Twitch will take swifter action against them and stop their streaming before Bungie gets off their fat ass and does something.
-
I have a simple solution don't play trials.
-
Just went to his stream and said he was ddosing and the whispers somebody the clip and I got permanently banned
-
Sorry that happened to you but good job getting it recorded. I suggest adding hashtag feedback to your post so bungie will take a look at it

5 RisposteModificato da GrifterDeMier01: 11/21/2016 8:28:54 AMOne person or one small single group of people can not consistently DDOS massive amounts of people with out help. Are you really that dumb to think the same people or just small random groups are causing this so called ddos phenominon to run rampant?!?!?! It's not ddos! It's just -blam!-ing horrible servers on the part of bungie which has been going on for the last 15 months at least!!!!!!!! God damn you are all so stupid!!!!!!
